We took this canal boat trip because it was included with The London Pass and loved it. The boatman gave us detailed history of the Jason and canal boating. It is easy to get to- near Paddington station- and travels to Camden Locks where there is a great market. We combined it with the hop on off off bus tour- getting off the Blue line at Paddington and rejoining the Green line at St Pancras station. One of the best things we did in London.

Great day on the water and outside the downtown area. Nice boat ride to Camden Market. I would recommend this trip but be sure to get there early since the board filled up.

My friend and I enjoyed the canal boat experience very much - it was the first time we saw a bit of scenic route from Camden to Little Venice and it's certainly another rather enjoyable way to get to know a bit more about London. The crew were very friendly and professional and we found the commentary incredibly informative. Would definitely recommend this activity to anybody visiting London and I'll surely do it again!

Jason's boat tour is located off of Warwick avenue near the Little Venice pool (not a natural swimming pool). We made reservations online but it is not necessary. If you do have a reservation they will let you on the boat first, so you can claim the uncomfortable seat of your choice. Also this is cash only.

They only do three tours a day.they have a one-way for £10 and a round trip for £15. The round trip is not worth it since there is no commentary and most likely you'll want to get off at The Camden market and explore.

Jason is not the name of the tour guide but it is the nameof the boat. Jason is a 100 year plus canal freighter that used to be pulled one horse to deliver goods and mercantile throughout London via canals and locks. This was the way it was done before the railroad came into service. The guided tour is about 45 minutes long. It starts in Little Venice and ends in Camden Town. The travel slowly through the locks where you can seek now homes private residences and the London zoo. While travelling past the London zoo we were able to see some of the animals like warthogs and wild dogs. You would think that your tour guide would have had this memorized by now. But he continued to read from a script.my favourite part of the tour was being able to see what people do with their beautiful English gardens also going through the tunnel was quite cool. All in all is quite a nice experience with tourists and locals alike. I do recommend it it is only 45 minutes and it is not a budget breaker.

What enjoyable way to experience the quiet part of London. The commentary was very informative. It was a pretty ride. Boarded in Little Venice and road the canal to Camden Market quiet time over. So much hustle and bustle there.
