I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and although never of poor quality, it has improved significantly. From the moment that you arrive the staff make you feel special, the service is excellent and the food first class. Some rooms however, can be a little on the small side but nevertheless to a very good standard. Not cheap but this is reflected in the overall standards and service. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel or staying there again in the future. I haven't used the fitness centre or swimming pool.

Room Tip: They are all good but some are better than others for size

I simply love the St. James in London. The rooms, though smallish, are exquisite. The staff is excellent and the location is perfect. You can walk to shopping and theater, easy access to the metro. In house dining is excellent and there are plenty of wonderful places near by. Very worth the splurge!

Stayed here for 2 nights in February and I was upgraded to a lovely room which was just fabulous. The decoration, the room size, the bathroom, the amenties, the comfort and the atmosphere was just wonderful.
The location is perfect, the staff just great and the breakfast excellent!
I would recommend this hotel without any hestiation and will book for my next stay in London.

I was there for 3 night and I really enjoyed it.

The hotel is very well located and the interior design is very nice and cozy.

Staff was friendly and the restaurant worth a visit with good food.

Only thing I didn't like was that the normal standard room is soooo tiny like a shoe box. You can hardly turn around. But it's very warm & cozy and with a sweet bathroom, so it's forgiven.

We had a nice time. Thank you!
