I stayed a total of 6 nights. The hotel is well located, clean and very good value for London's West End. Breakfast is adequate rather than a banquet but then again the price is excellent. I tried dinner one evening. It was home cooked and tasty. Again the big plus is the low price. As someone who is self-employed and needs to be in the west end for business about twice a year this is a great hotel that meets my needs.

Room Tip: The small internal rooms are quiet, and warm and cosy in the cold weather. Street facing rooms get s...

This hotel is in a great location, close to the embassies, very clean and friendly staff. I paid £46 to stay here and you cant ask for any better than that for what it is. Highly reccomended. The rooms are very small and close together, luckily everyone was very quiet but you can hear people going in and out of the rooms in the morning as the rooms are all so close together. In this particular area of london all the hotels start around about £200 so its great value and has lots of shops and nice cafes very close by.

An Outstanding Hotel

As a businessman i have stayed in many hotels worldwide and in this hotel several times.
My last visit was for several weeks, the level of service & personal attention was the same, if not better than when i stay for a few days.
I have spent sometime shopping around for a better value but could find none.
The management & staff make me feel at home, no matter how demanding i got.
The breakfast is superb, rich in variety and of excellent value, the dinner is of the same calibre and international in appeal.
Yes the hotel is not outstanding in every aspect but definitely in most and one gets the feel of genuine interest and appreciation from the staff.
The Manager is a savvy international traveller himself, seen world several times over.

I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again and again and recommend it to anyone who is reasonable and rational in expectation.

Stayed here for one night as my office is round the corner and I knew I would be out very late with clients. It's pretty much as you would expect from the photos; a good location, a nice frontage, dated rooms, very dated "restaurant" area. Upsides are 24 hour access, a comfortable bed and low prices. The downside was a shower you could barely turn round in.

Absolutely fine for a single business traveller. I wouldn't recommend bring anyone for a romantic night away though!

I stayed here for 3 nights 22/23/24 November 2012.
Great location for my purposes (attending a 4 day seminar at Cavendish House, which was 25mins walk away), and found the staff very friendly and helpful, which may sound like no big deal, but you'd be surprise how often people are either not very friendly, or indifferent, or have some weird attitude. Room was small, but you'd expect that at this price in central London. I found the room a teeny bit cold, that's my only niggle.

Stayed here again this month as a solo business traveller for one night.

For London it's fairly cheap but above all it's the location that works well for me. It's smack in the middle between Oxford St and the Marylebone area. The latter having some good places to eat and drink.

The hotel itself is a well run, friendly place. Perhaps it's a touch dated and the bathrooms are v small indeed but all I needed was a place to sleep, so this was perfect.

One thing.. They have birds tweeting on their speaker systems through out the hotel. Surprisingly it's not that annoying, it's just a bit odd. But the tweeting birds wouldn't stop me from staying there again when on business in London again.

Thank you for placing a review on our hotel. We very much appreciate your repeat visits to us and would like to assure you that the tweeting sea birds and waves splashing background sound that you have referred to is played only in common areas of the hotel on low volume and only between 9 am and 7 pm. This background sound system was installed as a result of some of our guests’ feedback suggestions to compliment the national theme that is part of the character of our hotel ambience.
Throughout the installations process, we made sure that no sound whatsoever penetrates the bedroom at any time, day or night. We of course realise that quietness and tranquillity is paramount importance to our guests.
Hope to see you again sometime soon.
