I went with a group of five friends between Christmas and New Year for a catch-up meal, and was fairly impressed.
The food was good on the whole. Friends enjoyed the rib eye steak and ox cheek tongue pie, but I found my dish which was the pork belly and beetroot salad to be disappointing as the taste of the beetroot was overpowered by it's pickle and the pork belly slices were small and a bit crispy and dry.
Prices are good, cheaper than most casual sit-down places in the Borough Market area.
The environment inside fine, although the smell of stale beer was quite strong.
