My take away was that this is a good priced clean and comfortable hotel (more like
a b&b) the service desk was more than helpful with directions, transportation, phone
adaptors -- you name it -- they were there!

When I booked this 'hotel' online it looked and sounded completely different to what it actually was like. First of all, I was under the impression it was near Camden Town and in quite a central location, but it seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, there was an industrial estate on one side and a council estate on the other, the area seemed a bit dodgy.

When I got to the room, it was tiny and the carpet did not look clean. I wanted to have a shower before I went out, and in the bathroom is says to wait 4 - 5 minutes for the hot water to come through. but it didn't warm up until 15 minutes later, and even then it went freezing half way through. The second time, I waited 40 minutes and no hot water came through, so I ended up having to have a cold shower. You couldn't even look in the bathroom mirror without having to stand in the shower either?

The bed was very uncomfortable and the heating was never on.

This was a major disappointment and a complete rip off. I don't know why it describes itself as a hotel either, as it's just too many rooms crammed above an ale house.

First of all it is not a House, not a Hotel but a corner PUB !, Cant swing a cat in the rooms, human hair found in the drawers and in the shower tray (it was that bad I went home unwashed !!!), ran out of rose wine in the middle of the day and were not helpful. We went to see coldplay concert ended at 11pm, went back to establishment for a nightcap and weren't allowed one even thought staff were sitting there knocking it back, we have since found out the rates had been doubled to £140 per nite as it was the Jubilee Weekend, an England Match and a Coldplay Concert - to be honest it should have been half the price and money back when you leave for staying - breakfast was continental - ie cold boiled eggs on a plate and a toaster that takes 30 mins for toast. SERMON OVER

Room Tip: book somewhere else

this is not a hotel, it is a pub with very small room to let above the pub, its on a busy road so its quite noisy, really not what we expected for £140 a night, I have checked room prices and see that they have now gone down to £80 for a double, we were ripped off because it was the Jubilee weekend, there was football and Coldplay in concert, not happy

We picked this hotel because we were originally traveling with three people and required a triple close to St Pancras. This seemed to be a great option for the price and the pics online looked pretty nice. However, when we drove up to the hotel the neighborhood seemed seedy. The downstairs is a pub which can get loud at night if there is a game on. The rooms are an okay size, but the carpet isn't clean, nor are the curtains. The bathroom is tiny and there is no way to look in the mirror unless you lean over the sink and in front of the shower. The only up side is, it's only a 10 min walk from the train station for easy travel to the best sites in London.
