During the week its full of people who work in the surrounding area (largely Insurance) and is quite a lively place to go Wednesday -> Friday. I've had the food once and I can say it is fairly priced and pretty good quality given what it is. The Folly is one of those places that try to do it all. There is a nice bar at the top next to a fully functional and well respected kitchen and adjoining restaurant/seating area. Downstairs there are more seating areas and a 'dance floor' part that opens up towards the end of the night.
Whilst I'm ok with this as it means you could stay here from early afternoon to early hours, its a case of "jack of all trades, master of none".
I work nearby but don't frequent this bar often for the exact reason above. Plus it is rather expensive if you compare it to the Folly's peers which are only a 5 minute walk away.
