My husband and I stayed at this hotel on Saturday 13th April and I booked an executive double room presuming it would look like the room advertised. It was so tiny that my husband had to climb over the bed to get into the bathroom which was the size of a small cupboard. We couldn't open the entrance door fully because there was a chair behind the door as it wouldn't have fitted any where else! I can't imagine the size of the standard double! The breakfast was like a bun fight and we had to ask several times for cutlery. I booked a Best Western as we had a good experience of this in York, but I will not be booking a room with this chain again.

Room Tip: Ask for size of room in metres.

This hotel being situated on busy King Street Hammersmith, the room we had was only quiet between about 1 am (when drunken revellers stopped passing) and 6am when the Iceland opposite starts receiving its daily deliveries. The hotel is clean, but the free wifi didn't work properly until the middle of the night (presumably when other guests stopped using it), the room was small, and the breakfast room gets very crowded after about 8.30am. The breakfast room is also badly laid out so that there are unnecessary queues for drinks. Breakfast is included in the price of the room though.

The staff are generally efficient, although one was pretty rude when we asked for two room access cards instead of one, and another reeked of BO.

This place is ok if you need to stay in W6 for one or two nights, but you get what you pay for and this place is by no means anything more than a mid budget, bog standard business and mid level tourist hotel.

Modern decor and bright reception/bar/breakfast area. Comfortable, clean rooms - Very hot, had to turn off heating and open a window slightly to cool the room down. Usual tea etc, and toiletries. Breakfast was continental, I think everyone arrived around the same time, it was difficult for staff to keep up with replenishing items, and it was a bit cramped. As I was attending the Hammersmith Apollo for a gig, the location was ideal, and also comfortable for walking back in the dark. Unfortunately, whilst having my cup of tea watching TV before bed at about 11.20pm, a member of staff walked into my room - I don't know who was more shocked! Fortunately I was dressed, he appeared to be finding another guest her room as I could hear someone outside the room. The hotel has a policy not to allow the lift past the 1st floor (this is where reception is) after 11pm. Other than that it was a pleasant stay for one night.

Room Tip: My room faced the back of the hotel, so no street noise, but did get machinery noise (ie heating/air...

Stayed here for one night to attend a concert at the Hammersmith Apollo. Location is perfect for attending anything there and even for going to somewhere on the piccadilly or hammersmith line. the room was very clean and contained everything you expect in a hotel these days. Our room was very small for a double with limited space to move about and the bathroom was adequate but petite.Secondary glazing cut any noise from the street below and the windows did open if required.Breakfast is continental and self-service, tables are close together. Cooked breakfast available at extra cost.We had no complaints as it was ideal for what we required but would not stay longer than two nights because of the size of the room. Good hotel for brief visits but have stayed in better value and size.

I can honeslty say that this is the smallest room I have ever been to. Room was 101 (first they gave me 132, it had no windows and was same size, so the staff was kind enough to change it), and the first bad thing about this room is that you have to walk 3 min from the reception. It has small windows, but at least room has them. For a person over 180cm (I am 190cm) , room and especially bathroom was a laugh! While sitting on the toilet, you can rest your forehead on the wall accross it! Washing teeth was also a challenge, becase I had to step into the room in order to lean towards the sink. Dressing up could only be done if you stand in the middle of the room. Noise from the street was present, but it did not bother me. Breakfast was better than average for England, but in my opinion not worth overall price for 4 star hotel. Free wifi was working most of the time. Overall, I would probably come back but not in the single room.

Room Tip: Just skip single rooms!

Wanted a hotel for my 2 young boys and myself for a short Easter break. Good location, friendly staff, just about 4 mins walk from Hammersmith tube station. Really comfortable, clean room. If you don't want the continental breakfast there is a Weatherspoons just a couple of mins down the road. Would stay again as value for money and just a few underground stops from most landmark paces. (short walk to the Apollo too for events).
