“Excellent food, excellent value, excellent service”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

I have to agree with other contributors - ignore the whingers! Booked online and was 'phoned back to confirm. We arrived a little early and were shown to our table to wait for the third member of our party. Menus arrived; drinks offered and no hassling until we were ready to order. Food was universally excellent - yes the mains arrived separately, but close enough together so as not to matter. The portions were huge. I was particularly impressed with my first taste of pho! Service was friendly and the right side of efficient. A very small problem with the bill was instantly corrected. A meal for three for under £50 in Soho - will definitely go back!

You get what you pay for. Worst food in London. Diluted cocktails. Bad service. Avoid avoid avoid. Run for your life.

“Five star tastes and service to match”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

We had booked for a post-theatre dinner and arrived around 10.15pm. It was packed and noisy but immediately welcoming and warm. Within seconds we were seated and supplied with menus. It's quite dark so the short-sighted may struggle with reading the menu!

There's lots to choose from and the (mainly Vietnamese) waiters were very happy to give us suggestions and describe dishes that we hadn't come across before. We went for Banh Cuon which were as good as any we'd eaten in Hanoi, juicy and filling mixed spring rolls, delish Chilli Salt n Pepper Squid and a super-spicy Green Papaya salad. This was more enough for the two of us and arrived very quickly.

A banana fritter (to share), a bottle of house wine and two sneaky glasses to wash the banana down saw our bill come to £78 including S/C.

There's nothing bad I can say about this restaurant and can only assume that the poor experience below was the result of a bad night and getting off on the wrong foot.

Certainly, for us, the service couldn't have been any better and the waiters were super-nice, friendly and enjoyed flirting with the customers (in a nice way!).

We'll be back, for sure.

“Very good Vietnamese food”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Our best friends who live in Soho love this place - so much so that the host knows them by name! The portions are large enough to share, and everything we had was very flavorful. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is decent. It can get loud sometimes, but the night we were there, we had no problems hearing ourselves in a group of 4.

“Dreadful food, just awful.”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Probably the worst meal I've had for years.
Ribs weren't ribs - they were bacon chops, full of uncooked fat and a foul seasoning.
Squid stuffed with duck was inedible - just rubber and again, foul seasoning. Can't believe this dish got onto the menu at all.

Pork belly was OK, but arrived ten minutes before anything else - was this a middle course?
Rice was clumpy, again bad seasoning. How could such a restaurant get this wrong?
Vegetables served with uncooked whole cloves of garlic. Is this a decoration?

Wine was warm and service poor.
Spoke to the manager, who dealt with the situation, but who also refused to accept constructive criticism of their food.
They were very busy, but in such a location should be able to deal with such a service.
We will never go back.
