This hotel property is an excellent choice in a prime location and a few minutes walk to Buckingham Palace. The rail / tube station is at your doorstep and our trip to Edinburgh went very smoothly. We arrived early on 25 December and Marta was so gracious to get us a room prior to check-in for Room 218. This was beautiful with a separate sitting area facing the main street and found no harsh noises at night at all. The furnishings are chic and to include a heated towel holder in the bathroom! We also spoke with Sophia who also was very gracious in helping us out. Concierge was wonderful and very professional. Due to scheduling, we only were able to have the breakfast buffet twice and it was delicious! Last but not least, I applaud Montserrat in Reception, who communicated with me via email prior to my visit and made me feel so very welcome in my requests and such. I only wish I could have met her to personally say thank you. I will definitely book this hotel again for my next and future trips back to London. With so much history and beauty, this hotel deserves a five star! Thank you to all who were a part of an excellent holiday in my second home!!

Room Tip: When you book this hotel, communicate to the hotel directly with any requests you may have and hope you get Montserrat in Reception!

My friend and I have stayed here several times, primarily because it is so convenient for arrivals at or departures from Victoria Station. There has been much refurbishment work over the past couple of years and the room standard is now vastly better.
We stayed one night on 4 January and had room 601 on the top floor of the main part of the hotel. It was compact but modern. A large double bed with duvet. The bathroom was equally compact but had working shower over the bath.
We requested and got an early check in ar 11.30. Check in and check out were speedy.
We did not eat in the hotel and chose Tiles a restaurant nearby for lunch.
We paid £130 without breakfast which compared favourably with Hilton and Park Plaza that day and which are also convenient for the Station

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year and would struggle to say anything negative! Firstly they accommodated a special request and also sorted out an issue upon our check-in with minimum fuss. The place has a very traditional and luxurious feel about it. The room was lovely, spacious and quiet, in fact it's the best night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel! The hot buffet breakfast was also very good. Got to mention the location as well - bang nextdoor to Victoria station and within a 15-minute walk of Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament etc.
All in all an extremely satisfactory stay.

A great hotel to stay in, especially if first visiting London.

Right outside Victoria Station makes it ideal for arrivals from Gatwick (via Gatwick Express) and is walking distance from Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Harrods etc.

Even for longer journeys, the proximity to the underground and major bus routes makes it really convenient.

Staff very helpful and the doorman Sam had some fantastic suggestions and provided great advice. Recommend Sam.

Only drawback was the 'business centre' - it's not much of a business centre, rather just a slow PC with a broken printer in a small square dull room.

Brilliant hotel great location that once you enter the building there is an air of calm and peace. We had an upgrade as a present and would recommend its worth the extra. Spacious rooms and lovely to have use of the executive lounge which on arrival were shown too and given tea and biscuits till our room was ready. Evening meal was good and again we chose to have the peace and quiet of the executive lounge. The staff really helpful with and our meal as we are vegetarians and they altered a course to accommodate us.
Will definitely use again if staying in London.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 108 with great space.
