Very attractive museum with loads to see. There is a great collection of aircrafts and many other aviation stuff to see. There are lots of events and many activities within the museum.

The large collection of aircraft at the museum, with detailed stories about each of them, will certainly attract any aircraft lover. There's also a nice interactive area with hands-on experiments into the physical laws behind flying, but this area is catering mostly for younger children. The 4D movie is a shame - boring, hardly using any 3d effects (let alone 4D - spraying a little smoke into the air did not justify the high price charge), and was overall a waste of money and time.
People who are not too enthusiastic about airplanes may not find too much interest in this museum - our teenager got bored after an hour or so.

The RAF Museum gives a fascinating insight into the story and life of the RAF, it's also a very good venue for corporate entertaining and events

Took our 7 & 10 year old here. They loved walking among the vast display of aircraft. The battle of Britain exhibit has one of the finest collections of WWII German and British planes I have ever seen. All this and admission was free.

To get there hop of at Colindale underground and it is a 7-8 minute walk.
