My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at Marble Arch Inn. The staff were friendly and certainly helpful. The room was, as expected, small, but comfortable and the location is brilliant (couple of minutes away from Oxford Street and Marble Arch underground station). Housekeeping was great; the beds were made every day, the towels changed and coffee/tea supplies topped daily. I would definitely visit again and recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We chose this place based on location and the photo on the site that I made the booking from. The outside is quaint but the inside is old and small. We had a room with our own toilet & shower which was very very small. It was clean and the room was made-up each day. The location was good to all the main city attractions or at least the train stations. There are plenty of restaurants on the nearby main road and we walked as far as Victoria station, Buckingham palace, Hyde park and Marble Arch station. Although its called a bed and breakfast, it wasn't included in our rate ( which we didn't know) and at check in, they suggested we go to Wetherspoons on the main Rd. I wouldn't stay here again, the place was crammed, the room far too small for us. The shared bathrooms were below our window so we would hear the noise from the amenities from our window. Wifi wasn't free and

Many thanks for your comments.

We are a small bed and breakfast hotel but we provide an excellent friendly service in a great location at very affordable prices.

The Marble Arch Inn is tucked in a quiet street a minute away from the busy Edgeware Road and Marble Arch underground station which provides an excellent position to get to London sites. You can walk to Buckingham Palace in 15-20 minutes (and Harrods!). As a B&B, it doesn't provide breakfast (that is extra), and WiFi also costs extra. The rooms are small but clean and ok. There is a bit of noise from occupants above and what seems like water noise when the shower is on. But it is good value for a central London hotel, and staff were very friendly. We would certainly consider staying there again.

Room Tip: Top rooms will be quieter.

We really appreciate your feedback which will enable other guests to follow you in choosing us next time they visit London.

The reason for charging the wi-fi is because then every one gets fast speed.
Giving it free was clogging the systems because of multiple use by guests.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Nice B&B for a very cheap stay. Clean rooms and shower/toilets. Nice staff, open 24 hours and the location is perfect. Close to everything. You hafto pay extra for wifi. Stores near by for breakfast. Absolutly ok!

We appreciate you taking the time to post a review and am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us.

As for the wifi we only charge because then every one gets good speed. By offering it free, most guests use it on several devices and that clogs up the system and nobody was unhappy.

The Marble Arch Inn is a basic hotel located exactly 5 minutes from Marble Arch tube station, which is at the end of Oxford Street. The area is great, the inn is right next to a street with good restaurants and two upper class bars (30 second walk).

My mum, sister and I stayed in room number 1 (downstairs - basement) which had a single bed in one part of the room, with a stool, hanging space, large fan, hairdryer, desk, shelves and kettle. There was a double bed in the other part of the room - two steps lead up to this section - with only a small space to move around but easy to sit on bed and watch the 80+ channels on tv incl. BBC and Sky News. Sliding door to tiny 'courtyard' let in cooling breeze if desired.

Bathroom was very small but the 3 of us shared it no problem. Nice strong shower. 3 big towels, one hand towel and one foot towel changed daily. 4 bars of soap provided at start of stay.

We left a note for the cleaning lady to leave us a good few tea bags as we don't drink coffee and she gave us 8 bags each day!

Sainsburys supermarket is a 4 minute walk and is open 24 hours (we like fresh milk, not UHT).

Great maps at reception, in particular one that gives 20% off at Pizza Express and Bella Italia plus list of attractions. Reception girl told us to leave key at reception but we said we'd rather keep it with us, she said that was no problem just that some guests find it more convenient to leave it with her or one of the boys. They have a master key for cleaning anyway.

This inn is all about location and if you just need a place to rest your head, shower and store shopping, why pay crazy prices? £100 per night for 3 of us (Sat, Sun, Mon nights).

Room Tip: Room 1 has low ceilings, but we are all about 5 foot ten and were ok!

Many thanks for your detailed comments which will be useful for other guests.
Room 1 is one of our quiet rooms and preferred by many who want a good night sleep.

The keys are only left at reception so that you do not lose them and have easy access if you come back at different times.

We look forward to seeing you soon again.
