This is a very simple, functional, convenient hotel. It's not luxurious but it was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. It's 5 minutes walk from St Pancras Station & King's Cross. The rooms were clean and well serviced. I did not eat the breakfast or eat in the restaurant as it's surrounded by great restaurants/cafes and the price for room only was great.

Room Tip: My room was 2nd floor at the back and was very quiet.

Great location! Incredible staff! Breakfast was amazing, a little bit expensive but we paid for 2 instead of three ( our son is 15) so very convenient. Special thanks to Johnny, Sebastian and Isabell from the restaurant. They were really friendly and helpful. We got a special offer because it was January and the rates were excellent! Thanks y I hope we will come back really soon!
The only drawback: stay away from the Spanish girl at the reception desk. Really rude and we could not understand her English so she switched into Spanish and it was a nightmare. :(

Room Tip: More storage room would be nice but it was manageable.

My husband stayed at the Premier Inn Euston on the night of the 11th December 2012 in room 434. Booking Reference number AKUR615610.

He had no sleep, whatsoever. on check out he reported the problems experienced and nothing was said. not even an apology.

He arrived at the "hotel" at 10pm only to be told that their "systems were down so he could not check in" he sat in reception for nearly two hours until he was given access to his room just before midnight. The room was freezing cold and he assumed the heating had not been turned on. He turned it up and pulled the curtains, at which point the curtain rail fell off the wall. He called reception, no answer.
After an hour the room was still freezing cold, he called reception again, no answer.
He checked out early the next morning, after a sleepless night. On check out he told them the heating wasn't working and the room was freezing cold. Nothing was said about the Good Nights Guarantee, no apology was given.
He filled in the online guest satisfaction survey two days later, 14th December and sent it back.
Last week after receiving nothing back from Premier Inn Customer Services I called them to inform them of the above. They took down the information and said the hotel would contact me within the next 48 hours and issue a refund.
That was a week ago - neither I or my husband has been contacted by anyone.
In short, this is a dreadful hotel and Premier Inn's Good Night Guarantee is nothing more than a marketing campaign that doesn't deliver.

Room Tip: Don't stay at this hotel

Stayed here for one night on return from Eurostar trip. Great rate for London hotel (£89) and a meal deal meant breakfast and 3 course dinner with a drink was on £22.99 each. The restaurant was clean but service for dinner was very slow considering there were only about 8 tables occupied. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet - no better or worse than anywhere else.

Had a room on the first floor (129), looking onto the Euston Road. Initially were concerned that it would be too noisey but secondary glazing and earplugs did the trick.

The room was absolutely fine, well serviced and clean. The only downside was the lifts were out of order on the morning we left so it was interesting lugging a weeks worth of ski gear and skis down the stairs. That said, a member of staff saw us struggling and assisted which was a nice gesture (glad we weren't on the 4th floor).

Having now stayed at 4 hotels within spitting distance of each other and Euston/St Pancras, would have no hesitation in staying here again. For the price, it really can't be beaten.

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel in November 2012. We did not get to the hotel until 11pm, after travelling for nearly 5 hours. Our initial impression of the room was positive as it was newly refurbished. However, once we got into bed we were horrified to discover that it was infested with small lice-like insects! We immediately informed reception and were eventually moved to another room. By this time it was almost 1am. The manager was very apologetic and due to Premier Inn's policy of 'a good night's sleep guarenteed', we received a refund for that night's stay.

However, the room that we had been moved into had a very strong odour of wet paint which consequently gave my partner and myself headaches for the remainder of the weekend. We did not bring this up with reception at the time as we did not want the hassle of having to move rooms again. We therefore decided over a month ago to contact Premier Inn (Whitbread Group) via both letter and email and as of yet we have had abosultely no response!

We therefore felt that given the seriousness of the issue and the apalling lack of customer service, we should warn others about this hotel.

This is an ideal base for the University, Bloomsbury and sightseeing generally. Walking distance even with luggage from Euston and Kings Cross. The room was clean and even though on the ground floor facing Euston Road quiet.

I booked this premier inn as i was going with some colleagues to a conference not far away. Reasons for booking, previous good experience of premier inns, good price as Sunday night, good location to train station and conference.
This hotel is really near Euston train station and faces the Euston road, my room was at the side of the hotel, but you could see the road from it, but the double glazing was very effective and noise non existent. The room was a very good size, with a massive TV screen. Good amenities, hair dryer in room, tea & coffee, good bathroom. Firm or soft pillows! Restaurant and costa joined to hotel. Food was really good, steak cooked to perfection, medium rare! Good meal package of starter, main and desert, glass of wine and a breakfast the next morning for £22.99. Staff all very friendly. Check in automated, but easy and there was someone on hand to help out. Very good nights sleep....will stay again!
