Its ok!-thats all yuou can say really. Its dull, inside ,and I'm always glad to get out again! It serves a purpose. It has some everyday shops like argos, wilkinsons, a small sainsburys, gamestation, and a few smaller ones-but its realy not that great! I don't think its changed in the last 30 years.
There are lifts and stiars and public toiletes-which they redid a coupkle of years ago-but they are soooo cramped!

Despite the fact that there is the odd good shop to be found here (Wilkinsons for example), the centre itself is old fashioned. It's gloomy rather than airy, claustrophobic, and gets ridiculously over crowded during busy shopping periods. In comparison to Exeter's Princesshay development, the individual treats that Fore Street has to offer and hidden gems on Gandy Street, reasons to visit the Guildhall are few.

We came here in July 2012 as part of a London walking tour. When we walked onto the square we were happily surprised at the beauty of this building, and I was excited to hear that we would be going inside the magnificent building. The inside is equally magnificent with interesting statues, stain glass, and murals. The entry was free, and there is so much history and interesting facts and stories that make this piece of London a valuable visit. It would be nice if there was more readily available tourist information about the Guildhall.
