“Bed and Breakfast Hotel”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Have just come back from a 3 day stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is also very good (Belgravia) - about a 5-minute walk to Victoria train/tube station and the number 11 bus just round the corner (for Buckingham Place, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Squrea or Covent Garden). If you prefer to walk, Piccadilly or Knightsbridge (for Harrods) takes about 25/30 mins. The hotel is in a very quiet area even though it is in the heart of London. Our room was at the back of the hotel so even quieter - although there was a slight noise from an air extraction unit which may have belonged to the restaurant next door (up until about 11.00pm). There was also no facility in the bathroom to plug in an electric razor. In saying that these two things do not detract from a thoughly enjoyable stay. Would definitely use the Lime Tree Hotel again went visting London.

this was my first time to a bed and breakfast. the LimeTree is in the Belgravia area. it is around the corner from the Victoria Coach Station and down the street from the underground and bus depot so it was very convenient to get around. the neighborhood was lovely and felt very safe. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was very nice and very filling. the staff would come around first with a basket of warm biscuits. the breakfast room was lovely on the first floor; most breakfast rooms are in the basement. the room was nice and roomy as we asked for the deluxe room.

Room Tip: the deluxe room has two beds and two closets. the bathroom was small as was the shower stall. ther...

Really enjoyed my stay; everyone was very helpful and friendly. They make you feel like home. Hotel is close to Victoria Station, right in the heart of London. Location is convenient, close to metro and bus station and that gives you the opportunity to travel cross the city really easy. Breakfast of really good quality.

Lodging in London is pricey but, by London standards, this hotel seemed to be a good compromise between price, location, and comfort. Breakfasts were excellent. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable. Front desk was very helpful. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor and avoided having to go up the stairs with our luggage.

Second time we have stayed at this beautiful hotel and won't be the last! All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly especially Alex. Mathew and his wife welcome you to what feels like home from home and can't do enough for you. The whole place feels clean and fresh, the rooms stylish and comfortable. They even stored a friend of ours ( who wasn't staying at the time) bike for her in the basement for a few days. All the staff go the extra mile and it works as we wouldn't stay anywhere else unless we really had to! The breakfast is delicious and a wide choice of cooked available. Having stayed in many hotels around the world for me The Lime Tree is the best!

I have stayed recently in this hotel for a few days, and I was delighted.
The owners are nice and welcoming people, and every member of the staff is professional and friendly, especially SANDRA, who is a helpful and smiling person, who made me feel at home even though I was far away from home.
The english breakfast is delicious, the location fabulous !
Many thanks to every person who works in this hotel.
