Owner description: St Pancras International is one of the greatest Victorian buildings in London. It has become a key destination for Eurostar and high-speed rail in the UK, as well as a fantastic retail and hospitality destination. It has something for everyone - from the amazing Terrace Wires public arts installation to cornerstone and prestige retail outlets such as Fortnum & Mason and John Lewis.

This station is where I catch the fast train to Folkestone to visit relatives after coming into King's Cross. My first time into St. Pancras alone and with lots of luggage nearly had me hyperventilating looking for the platform that I needed for my particular train and also being on a time limit between trains. Now the whole area has been redeveloped and I am extremely impressed with the ease of leaving King's Cross station, no roads to negotiate as you move under cover into the redesigned concourse of St. Pancras. All the many shops, restaurants, sculptures and quirky ideas like deckchairs on astroturf during last summer's heatwave fill any spare time while waiting for chosen trains. Make a specific reason to wander about in this newly designed station as it should become an attraction to see while around in London. Very iconic old building with it's distinctive red brick exterior which has now become a totally ultra modern and stylish landmark in this very busy yet popular tourist destination. Very, very beautiful.

We stayed just a few blocks from here, and used this station to catch the Eurostar to Paris. The station is connected to the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, which is gorgeous. The station is clean and modern with tons of shops and food options while you wait.

We caught the Eurostar from Paris to London for the day. The building was lovely and so easy to navigate our way out of. There were plenty of cabs out the front as well. On our trip home, we got to the station three hours early and had a lovely dinner at one of the restaurants. Their bread basket, chicken pot pie and their white wine was amazing! The supermarket there was also so convenient for buying snacks for the train.
