This station is where I catch the fast train to Folkestone to visit relatives after coming into King's Cross. My first time into St. Pancras alone and with lots of luggage nearly had me hyperventilating looking for the platform that I needed for my particular train and also being on a time limit between trains. Now the whole area has been redeveloped and I am extremely impressed with the ease of leaving King's Cross station, no roads to negotiate as you move under cover into the redesigned concourse of St. Pancras. All the many shops, restaurants, sculptures and quirky ideas like deckchairs on astroturf during last summer's heatwave fill any spare time while waiting for chosen trains. Make a specific reason to wander about in this newly designed station as it should become an attraction to see while around in London. Very iconic old building with it's distinctive red brick exterior which has now become a totally ultra modern and stylish landmark in this very busy yet popular tourist destination. Very, very beautiful.
