Owner description: St Pancras International is one of the greatest Victorian buildings in London. It has become a key destination for Eurostar and high-speed rail in the UK, as well as a fantastic retail and hospitality destination. It has something for everyone - from the amazing Terrace Wires public arts installation to cornerstone and prestige retail outlets such as Fortnum & Mason and John Lewis.

“Beautiful and efficient”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Visited the St. Pancras station while catching the Eurostar from London to Paris. The station was busy but there were still plenty of places to sit. The Cafe Nero in the station gets very busy. Plenty of helpers to get through security and it was a breeze. Efficient boarding process with good communication on the monitors and overhead speakers.

“Late train? no worries, go and play a piano!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

St. Pancras is my favourite train station, if you were to even assume train stations can be liked at all. This one, just like the other ones is surrounded by shops, maybe more expensive than your average ones in similar locations but equally useless..To the shops or not, you will have to walk through this big station and as you walk the architecture is worth admiring. Trains in UK tend to often suffer from severe conditions ( i.e. one snowflake seen in Midlands) which often make them late..St Pancras however has got something i have not seen in other such places, St Pancras got PIANOS. This is amazing really, if you don`t play yourself i have heard plenty of people playing so nice that it cheers you up while you are waiting for your delayed train.

“Eurostar London Departure / Arrival Station”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

This is where you get on the Eurostar (Train) to Paris. Very convenient trip to Paris from here--and several others in Europe. Takes a little over two hours to Paris from London--similar time to get back. The Station was well organized--although a little busy--and trains were on time both ways. You can take a taxi to St. Pancras Station from just about anywhere in London--or for a little adventure you can try the underground subway to get here. Excellent connections to Heathrow Airport--just take the subway (tube) from St. Pancras to Paddington Station and catch the Heathrow Express train to the airport--about 15 minutes. Beats fighting the traffic on the motorway--especially if you're in a hurry.

“Indoor Clouds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

Lucy and Jorge Orta have created an interesting sculpture of two suspended clouds with a variety of figures on them fixed high up in the station. I was just sorry I couldn't see the figures better. St Pancras is such a gem I never mind if I have some time to wait for a train!

“British Rail Lingers On”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

Beautiful & Modern station but poor & confusing layout. Also let down by the bank-breaking cost of UK rail travel if you haven't got a valid pre-booked ticket.
