GREAT transport connections to all of London from Baker Street / Marylebone, hence we chose this area for our London fortnight accommodation. The obvious 'traps' include a wax museum with 1000's of Continentals queueing whilst their coaches spew diesel fumes into the atmosphere, shops selling 'tat' to tourists, open air double decker bus tour touts (ride on your own double decker bus with your oyster card for 1quid30p), and Sherlock mania at 221B. but down the back streeets are wonderful shops, pubs cafes, and nearby Marylebone High Street is lovely. A local London experience awaits. Recommended.
