This is a spectacular memorial to Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria. It has beautiful sculptures in marble all around it, gold leaf everywhere and a beautiful railing. It is opposite the Albert Hall and absolutely huge.

Definitely recommend a visit for any photographer.

Queen Victoria's monument to her eternal love of Albert is akin to the Taj Mahal. It is huge, and definitely a picture site.

I think this monument is amazing, its sheer size and beauty not to mention the workmanship needed to build it. You can tell that it was inspired by love and total devotion and that link with our Victorian past adds something to it.

All that said, younger children and teens may wonder what all the fuss is about and your visit won't take long, but it is worth it!
