My husband to be proposed in green park under one of the wonderful trees there. The park and area around is amazing. All the tourist things are so close by. We did alot starting off at Big Ben with my boyfriend and ending up at the posh Mayfair area with my future husband!!!

Another Royal Park located in the City of Westminster, you will find it right next to St James’s Park and in front of Buckingham Palace.

Different from the other parks in Central London, this one is more peaceful & consists almost exclusively of mature trees and grassland. From March to October, you can lie on one of the many deck chairs available for hire. It is open all day, all year round.

The closest tube station is Green Park.

I liked this park though I would not go out of my way just to see it. If you get off the tube at Green park and stroll though the flat trails it will take you to Buckingham Place. The gates to the place from Green Park are the Canada Gates and there is a desperate smaller one for Newfoundland. There is also the Canadian memorial fountain that is great to take photos of. You could even take a nice relaxing sit in the park and enjoy the sun. From the park it is not a far walk to Big Ben and Parliment as well.

Green Park is a huge and beautiful park. It as rainy day on the day of our visit so not too many people hanging out in the park itself. We walked through the park to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Talk about a crowd...!

We walked through this park on our way to the Churchill War Rooms. It is close to Hyde park, it has a beautiful rose garden. It's near the Queens Gate.
