Victoria Park is easily the nicest park in London. it is such a large space and relatively un-crowded when compared to Hyde Park and Regents Park. There are so many places to just sit down and relax. the huge lake has got many bird species, with ducks and swans to feed. The eastern part of the park is relatively unvisited and you are sure to find a space to sit down, relax and ponder life.Take a stroll along the Canal, you can go to Angel to the North, or to the Olympic Park to the East.

Right in the heart of the East End, full of history, and now completely revamped thanks to lottery money and the 2012 Olympics, it has two beautiful kids play areas, lakes, ducks and swans aplenty, and the fabulous Pavilion cafe which serves the best coffee- and I mean the best anywhere.
The park is a big green lung, with waterways, canal paths to north and east London, great for dog walks, running and cycling. If you want to see the Olympic park you just stroll along the eastern canal and its right there.

Finally a break from the rain it was a good local day out at my favourite London Park. My little ones love it here and come often during the summer months. We wrapped up a bit and the kids had boots for the mushy mud grass. They loved crossing the bridge and running around. They really didn't need the extra layers for long after playing in the kids area (avoiding the sandpit area) plenty of slides, swings and balance bridges to keep them entertained. We enjoyed until the sun went down and still they did not want to leave, so we lured them away to the local shops for a treat. Will be visiting again soon the other side of the park is a great adventure with more to explore for younger and older children.

Amazing park in which I hold many fun filled memories! I visit all the time!

- Great for jogging 5k easily with motivating scenery!
- The regeneration of East London in recent years has caused the park to evolve, some aspects have changed for the better, some not so much, but in any case, a tranquil park to visit!
- Diverse range of activities held at Vicky Park every year such as Lovebox festival.
- Filled with elements from all over London; pubs & bars, vintage clothing shops, skate park, the Pavilion, 2 children parks (paddling pool), lawn bowling, Tennis courts, cricket and football space. Also dog friendly, with toilets and drinking fountains available.
