Owner description: The Old Royal Naval College (ORNC) is Sir Christopher Wren's riverside masterpiece and one of London's most popular attractions. The iconic buildings stand on the site of Greenwich Palace, Henry VIII's favourite royal residence, and were originally designed as a refuge for old and injured sailors. The buildings and grounds are open daily and include the Painted Hall, Chapel and Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre. Admission is free.

I had no idea of the stunning beauty here... The architecture, the views, the landscaping, the Chapel, the ornate gates... From the moment we entered, I was in awe...

Great buildings right next to the river Thames. The Chapel and Painted Hall are wonderful, but the Painted Hall is temporarily closed because of renovations. Nice view on Greenwich Park.

The Naval college consists of many buildings, but the chapel was the only interesting thing to see. It is free, but I had to walk around quite a bit to find it as there is a lack of direction signs. If you are visiting Greenwich & are pressed for time, I would skip this.

Was looking forward to visiting during my visit to Greenwich. The architecture is fantastic, and worth visiting just to see if your in the area.
However visiting late morning midweek the painted hall was closed, I did not see anything about this on their website. Also we could not gain entrance to the chapel either!
So a great place to walk through on the way to the observatory and maritime museum, but otherwise a disappointment.

Only visited the chapel and skittle alley. The chapel for the choir recital which was incredible followed by a visit to the skittle alley. Staff were incredible explaining the history of it before allowing us a go. All for free.
