Great location close to Holborn tube. Sophisticated staff but still helpful. The rooms are cavernous by London standards and well furnished. So overall a great hotel as long as you don't look at the bill. Even using Laterooms it was £240 per night and breakfast at £23 where you serve yourself except for tea/coffee and toast is not exactly cheap

This was a surprise over night stay for my 30th birthday and it was in a great location. My partner booked it as a 'queen superior' hoping to get a special room, although when we walked through the door we were quite disappointed. The bed looked like a small double foldaway futon although the room was spacious. Upon confirming with the hotel receptionist if this was the right room, she very kindly showed us around to see another room. She very kindly gave us a much better room, which had a queen bed (although a smaller room!) but it was still very nice. Good service. The bar prices were quite reasonable too..

Fair sized rooms, which were clean. Lovely heated indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room. We had also booked massages which were lovely. The hotel itself was nothing special. I found the website to be quite misleading in that the photographs were a lot nicer than what the hotel was in reality. The staff were not particularly helpful. Given that this hotel is advertised as a 5*, it leaves a substantial amount to be desired.......

My wife and I have just returned from a whistlestop trip to London staying at The Grange Holborn. The hotel was rated five star however i believe it was closer to a good four star, rather than five star. The leisure facilities, pool, sauna etc. were well equipped but nothing out of this world. the rooms were excellent with good quality fittings, tea/coffee, hairdryer, trouser press, iron etc. the room did have residual noise from the road yet it wasn't too bad. the staff at the hotel were excellent really attentive with excellent local knowledge.

I have stayed in this property on 3 separate occasions, and each time the experience has been the same - excellent.
From the Reception Staff, the Japanese Restaurant staff, and the delightful 1st floor Dining room Staff - everyone is extremely polite and attentive.

Bedroom size varies, from large to REALLY large, with opulent furnishings throughout.

An extensive breakfast from simple toast to smoked salmon can be taken in the star-studded roof of the Dining Room on the 1st floor.....nice touch!.

Great city position whatever you're in London for.........enjoy!
