This is our 8th stay at this hotel traveling with a student group. The hotel has definitely upgraded its rooms since the first time right after it opened. We we first stayed there, the London Eye was non-existent, and there was nothing going on in the area of the Southbank, except convenience to WAterloo station. Now, this area is lively with plenty of new restaurants, and the hotel couldn't be more perfectly located. The evidence is that it shares the same building as the Marriott for half the price, and a new 5 star (the Park Plaza Westminster) just opened around the corner last month.

We had 2 families with children ranging from 6 months to 13 years old...and grandparent too. This hotel was the perfect location! Easy to get on the tube and starbucks and shops right nearby. The staff at this hotel was excellent. Always someone there to greet you as you check in with the machines and to answer questions. Breakfast was great and the kids were free! We stayed for 4 nights and it was great. When our son got ill the last night, the staff was so helpful! We had to extend our trip so he could recover and we were able to stay in our room. The room was perfectly set up for a family! We will definitely be back. The London Eye is right outside the door and there is a park right there for the kids to play on!

I was unfortunate enough to stay at this hotel for three days in March, and the visit was not at all satisfactory (non-working lifts, badly serviced room). I complained, without success at the time. I wrote a letter of complaint two weeks ago that has been ignored. I have sent two emails that have also been ignored.

I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here; and, given the lack of response by Premier Inn, to perhaps not stay at any of their hotels. The concept of 'Customer Care' does not exist at Premier Inn.

I traveled with my 15 year old daughter & this location was perfect for us. We could easily walk to many attractions, but when too tired, the tube and buses were close-by. Nearest tube is either Waterloo or Westminister depending on where you are going and several buses stop on the corner. Little Italian restuarant across the street - Locale - was a nice place for dinner. Also recommend a croissant/pastry stop at 'The Bakery' just down the street. Be sure to list any child under 16 at their correct age. Child pricing and/or free things for under 16. Also recommend the London Pass if you expect to do a lot of sightseeing. For teenagers who love music, make the trip to O2 in North Greenwich. We spent three hours there. Clipper boat takes you straight from/to London Eye to O2.

Very uncommon to find a decent size room in London - we had a family room and it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bedding was great. Plenty of room to stretch out but very little place to unpack - no drawers at all. Check in is automated but there was always someone there to answer a question, give directions etc. Can't say enough about the location - right next to the Millenium Wheel and 1 block from the Waterloo Station. We walked everywhere from the hotel - Theatre district, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace etc. Great value.

This one's really easy to do. It's the typical format of a Premier Inn, so good sized rooms, comfortable beds, good basic food at reasonable prices etc. etc. The only thing different about this one is that it's the best Premier Inn I've stayed in because of the location and it's setting in one of Londons most iconic landmark buildings.

This is quite simply the best bargain in London. Sparkling clean and comfortable rooms in one of the best locations in London (view of London eye from our room), walking distance of everywhere for just £100 a night. Possible the best budget place to stay in London. And this review from a Londoner who has lived and stayed all over the capital. BOOK immediately!!
