Stayed 1 night 22nd Oct. All the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. Valet car parking was also very good value for central London.
Room was spacious clean and had a great view over Jubilee gardens. Left luggage facility very useful for second day meetings.

The Premier Inn County Hall is in a great location, very convenient walking distance to many London attractions, close to Waterloo Station, and across the river from Charing Cross so easy to get anywhere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a bit small but adequate, can be a bit noisy in the mornings in some rooms. But overall a great place to stay.

First the pluses, as they say in real estate, location, location, location. This hotel is right next to the London Eye and Jubilee Park. It is around the corner from Waterloo Station, and Waterloo Tube station. We walked to the train when we left London, with our suitcases in tow. You can walk a little further and cross the footbridge over the Thames River and then Trafalgar Square, where the National Gallery is located, is just about 3 blocks further. You can go to the right when you exit the hotel, walk a block turn right and walk across Westminster Bridge to Big Ben and Parliament. Oh, then Westminster Abbey is just a block from Big Ben. We easily walked to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. Oh, and the Tate Gallery and Piccadilly Circus is only 4-5 blocks from Trafalgar square. You get the picture.

Breakfast is incredibly good, Eggs, oatmeal (porridge), toast, pastries, ham, fresh fruit, juices, cereals, yogurt, tomatoes, Cappuccino machine, Breakfast was great. The room was a decent size, and the internet while not completely free, was very fast. You get 30 minutes free per day, but you can buy for a nominal cost (10 British Pounds for 7 days) unlimited WiFi. It worked and worked very fast. It also worked for my I-phone for the same price (no additional charge).

The place could use an updating, It was kept clean, but the carpet is tired and needs replacement, as is the woodwork. The floors are loose and need to be tightened down so they don't creak. Room was clean and the bath was nice. Like many London hotels, this one does not have A/C, however the windows open and it is not generally a necessity in London.

All in all, this was a pleasant stay, we started with a great breakfast, and were convenient to everything, walking distance to much of the must see things.

Next door to the London Eye this hotel is well positioned at a good price, comfy with attentive staff. Southbank has always got something going on, a short walk across the bridge and you're into Trafalgar square amongst the other offerings of the West End.

Close to London Eye. 2 blocks more Big Ben, Parliment, Westminster Abby. 2 more blocks St. James Park, which borders Buckingham Palace and much more. Staff at Premier Inn were friendly and helpful. Nice dining facility with very good food and service. Our room was small and sparse with no view. I suspect this particular room was for guests arriving early in the day from overseas as we had. We were told we could switch rooms later in the day, if we wished.

Although by no means cheap, four of us were able to stay opposite the Houses of Parliament for less than £50 each and the room was quiet, functional, comfortable and had everything we needed, although a little soulless.

My husband and I stayed at Premier Inn London County Hall on September 2013. First the cons: The hotel is a very old building converted to a hotel, TO ME it does not have any charm inside as it looks like a hospital :( I did not like either the machines for the check-in/check-out... It's true that there is always people to help with this, but I feel much better with the conventional counter.
Now the pros: The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is very comfortable. The restaurant is very good, we had buffet breakfast every day, it was great. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night, the food was also good. But what we loved more about this hotel is its location, next to the London Eye and a few blocks away from Waterloo Station.
