“Very good cafè”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Dreamy food, open for breakfast, amazing salads (best one: brown rice), wonderful cakes, best selection of teas in town.. A bit pricey but worth every visit! In the a.m.s it's usually quiet but p.m.s gets really busy and nighttime it's absolutely impossible to find a seat, that's how popular it is!

“Outstanding Brunch in SOHO, London”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

We had originally intended to have brunch at a "top rated" café in Soho. The line was very long and the place tiny. Since we were not willing to wait an an hour to eat we headed back to Warbour street (across the corner) and started looking for an alternative. This when we spotted L'Eto Caffe. The breakfast selection is ample and well presented. They also have a selection of salads and buffet dishes served and charged for by weight. The croen of the jewel though is the pastries. Since the cakes and pastries are all in display at the front window of the restaurant it is the first thing you see just by walking by.

We had a Croque Madame, a three eggs (sunny side up) with toast and avocado salad. We ordered orange juice and a mango-passion fruit lassi mixed with two shots of gin for a perfect Sunday morning cocktail. The food was well prepared and tasty.

To conclude the affair we ordered a slice of carrot cake and caffe latte.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere casual but quiet.

I found the price fari by London standards. Can you have a cheaper brunch in Soho? I am sure you can. In fact, just around the corner if you are willing to wait on the curbside one hour before being sit. However, if you are short on patience and long on appetite, stop by L'Eto. You will not be disappointed.

“Nice food and cakes but way overpriced”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

The cakes on display are so inviting that we often stop by to pick up a cake or two whenever we walked pass it. For the first time I took some savoury options (to go) today. The chicken patty was nice, but more memorable was the ham and leek quiche. The price of a lot of their food goes by weight. It turned out a small slice (size of a standard slice of cake) was £5.70! That's insanely expensive for a cafe. Prices of cakes and pastries are a bit lower than Laduree. The price of the quiche will stay on my mind for a while so I don't think I'll pop in the next time I walk pass L'Eto. The staff was very friendly and helpful though ...

“Over priced & aweful!”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Made the mistake of going back there twice. Wish I hadn't tried in the first place with but went the second time at the insistence of a friend.
she had scrabbled eggs on the dry, hard to break bread, she couldn't even cut the bread with her knife! awful. I had the french toast with banana, honey & mint, omg, awful awful!! cold undercooked french toast with a banana split down the middle, very adventurous, NOT, with a drizzle of honey!
More chance of me standing in an hour queue for the Breakfast Club around the corner than go back to L'eto where a table is guaranteed!

“Perfect breakfast joint”
Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

A wide variety of fresh (some exotic) ingredients; classic food combinations and drink mixes; amazing pastries; good value for money. Went for Sunday breakfast and did not have to wait for a table. Definitely would come back.
