We loved our stay at the Fielding. It's just a small hotel, and the rooms are very small as is typical in London. But it was lovely to have a little separate sitting area in our room (6 steps down from the sleeping area, next to the bathroom). The shower has the biggest shower head I have ever seen.

The service was outstandingly friendly, and we enjoyed the extra little touches - generous supply of large, fluffy clean towels each day; complimentary sparking and flat water; tea and coffee making facilities as well as lovely toiletries.

But the best part is the location. Covent Garden feels like a village and we could walk pretty much everywhere from the hotel. And if you didn't want to walk - the tube is right there. Cafes and restaurants abound.

Thanks for a great stay!

What a find! A stylish boutique hotel in a fabulous location a street away from Covent Garden and the Royal Opera House with good Tube connections. Very friendly and helpful staff who are available 24 hours.Clean, well maintained rooms with modern en suite bathrooms. Overall decor creates light and space in this small historic building. A good luggage room. No dining facilities but not needed as many good options on the doorstep. The icing on the cake for us was the fairy lights cascading down the building that was a beautiful welcome back in the evening after a long day out and about in London. Can't wait to stay again.

Room Tip: There is no lift so ask for a room on the lower floors if you can't do narrow stairs.

I booked this hotel while were in London seeing a show. The location is fantastic, right in the heart on covent garden. The room was lovely if a little on the small size, a previous review stated that this was advised where I don't feel that it was. The only other downside for me was the stairs, I am 7 months pregnant and after struggling up two flights of stairs I was dismayed to find there was stairs in our room too (our toilet was down stairs) I would stay here again for the location alone but for me the rooms are a tad expensive compared to what is on offer.
The staff are also very friendly and helpful, and always on hand for directions and to give advice on where to eat or visit.

We stayed at the fielding hotel for a two night stay in London for a birthday trip. I booked this hotel for the location and the price. I was very pleased on both counts, we were so close to Covent Garden market it was the perfect area and the price of staying in such a good area was reasonable. The staff were so helpful, pointing out places to eat, directions to bus stops and always friendly. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

stayed just one night as we were going to the theatre. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly immediately felt at home. We were upgraded to a lovely room at the front with a small iounge. Everything was spotless plenty of complementary refreshments and bathroom products. The hotel is small but that is made clear before you book,it was just what we wanted . The lady at reception was so informative and we chatted at length about the local history. We were directed to a lovely cafe for breakfast which was wonderful and inexpensive. We slept so well ,it was a warm evening so we had the windows open and it was very quiet. The air conditioning worked perfectly but we preferred to open the windows. At the end of our stay we were able to leave our bags which made the day more enjoyable. 10 out of 10 would stay again and have already recommended others.

Room Tip: i would always ask for a room with a view

Stayed at the Fielding two nights in June and what a treat. This is a small, lovely little hotel in Covent Garden. It is on a quiet street conveniently located to many major tourist sites. The hotel itself is lovely. Our room included a sitting room, bedroom and bath with wonderful amenities. It was quiet and extremely comfortable. We will stay here again. The staff is so welcoming and helpful that you feel right at home.
