“Night out in Camden”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

We had booked to see a group play ay KOKO's in Camden High Street and looked for a convenient hotel so we could walk to the venue and stay over niight.
The Alhambra fitted the bill but were pleased to also get a very friendly reception, impeccable room and excellent breakfast which represented great value.

We booked this hotel based on TripAdvisor ratings, and our stay there was entirely consistent with the reviews. We'd recommend it and would stay there again. I have nothing more to add, but need to make up the ridiculous 200 word minimum. Shakespeare said that brevity is the soul of wit, but clearly TripAdvisor doesn't think so.

Perfect for our situation coming from St Pancras & leaving from Kings Cross station the next day.
We had 3 in our room & although small it was clean & adequate & the bathroom all worked properly. The breakfast was very good & quickly served up. It would be too small to stay for any length of time but for a night or two was terrific.

Just completed our 3rd visit to The Alhambra, Location in London is everything, value for money with a very good breakfast. Rooms very compact but excellent and very clean, within walking distance of St Pancras for Eurostar. Expect to walk across the road for your breakfast, adds to the charm of the place. One other facility bags are kept for you down stairs if you want to visit an attraction before travelling home at the end of the day.

Room Tip: Have single beds as rooms are small you can get around the bedroom easier.

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at Alhambra Hotel, and we had a fantastic experience both times! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is neat and tidy, breakfast is delicious and filling, and it's in a very convenient location. This time we also traveled with my sister-in-law, and the triple room was very comfortable for all three of us for the 7 nights we were there. We can't imagine staying anywhere else on our next visit. Great value for the money.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back of the hotel are a bit quieter, but ones on the street side are not unbearable.

It's the seventh time I come to Alhambra Hotel. This hotel is very close to the eurostar station, the underground, and at about 15 minutes of Tower Bridge. Rooms are always very clean and the staff very kind and lovely. What about the breakfast ? Well, you can begin by English breakfast, and if you're still hungry you can get some more toasts and tea, and cereals, and porridge.... so that you really can spend the day without a real lunch. I once tried another hotel a little bit cheaper but it was not so clean and the furniture was old, and the breakfast was not inclued in the price of the room. I think I'll be back in London in about 6 months, and I'll soon book my room at Alhambra's. I dont' feel like looking for another, really.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter but it's more difficult to climb the stairs if you've got big lugg...
