When getting a room at 87$ a night. you should keep the expectations reasonable.
Even though, here are some points worth considering here:

The expected:
- Breakefast, simple and ok.
- Really small room, but clean, includes kettle with coffee, tea
- Getting one towel each day, need to ask for another towel if you wish it

The good:
- 7 mins walk to hammersmith underground station - a direct line to heathrow 40 mins ride, 30 mins walk to kensington street and hyde park.

The bad:
- There was a problem with the hot water in the room at the morning, tooks 2 days to fix, even - after fix the water was warm rather than hot.
- In two night, when arriving, the wifi was not working and became functional only at the morning.

Location of the hotel is good.
Staff is very kind and helpful.
Bathroom is very clean with good shower, but could have better layout.
Hammersmith metro station is reachable in 7 minutes on foot.
Tesco shop is just across the hotel, down the passage (one minute away).
City centre is easily reachable by tube or bus (bus number 10 operates all day, but takes too much time to get beyond Hyde park).
There are some good (and not expencive) pubs in Hammersmith.

The staff was very nice even the girl who served the breakfast was very nice and really helpful, its about 5 to 10 mins form hammersmith foot and 10 mins to the center of london by underground. will be back again

This has been our second stay with Saba and will soon be booking our third.
We have NEVER been disappointed with our treatment in the hotel. The staff are ALWAYS more than helpful and couldn't do enough for us. On our second trip this year, we had initially went to the wrong part of the hotel (which was completely our fault), the manager happened to be there at the time, and remembered us from the previous year. He transported our cases to the correct hotel himself- which he didn't have to, as we weren't that far.
The girls who worked in the kitchen are very friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we had enough for our breakfast.
Rooms where also spotless.
Would recommend this hotel to anybody!!
Will be back 2014 for another enjoyable stay.

stayed with my wife & daughter in Feb 2013 -Initially went to the wrong part of the hotel ,but the owner very kindly transported our cases to the hotel . He even remembered us from the previous visit in 2012 . Staff could not have been more helpful , and the girls who served in the kitchen were extremely pleasant . Will hopefully be going back next spring & would highly recommend this hotel to any visitor

Room Tip: It is a friendly hotel

Our room was clean, but that's all about positive aspects I'm afraid. Temperatures were hot outside but even worse in our room, even with windows open. Bad smell in the bathroom + its door could not close properly. Many emergency cars passing by on the street making it hard to sleep.
It seemed to be a family-owned property but the personal did not care that much about our stay generally speaking.
£129 for one night in these conditions was definitely too much money.

Room Tip: Avoid a room giving on the street!

The Saba hotel is well set up for anyone wanting affordable, clean and contemporary accommodation. The room was clean and well presented. Perfect for families - we had the family room that can sleep 6...the location is great but it is the staff who were really helpful, friendly and the lady doing breakfast service is so lovely and accommodating. All the staff need commending. Very impressed. Only downfall would be the noisy road but we were so tired anyway that once we hit the pillow we slept all night!!
