“Lovely Modern Hotel”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

A lovely modern hotel with lots of great amenities. Great location for easy access to lots of things to do and a great number of places to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar area was vibrant and modern and a great way to wind down. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was very clean with a great shower! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved staying at this hotel.
The rooms are comfortable.

Some of the staff are snobby, but for the most part they are friendly.
The breakfast is fabulous.
Location can't be beat.
WIFI should be in the hotel for free, not just in the lobby.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Trafalgar and were very pleased with our stay. We upgraded our room using Hilton Honors and were given a large room, king size bed with a desk area separate from the sleeping area. The bathroom was large and had a bath and shower. The shower did leak when you used it, I think new doors would solve the problem.
The full English breakfast was expensive, but good. buying the prepaid vouchers saved us several pounds each.
The lobby bar area is lively on a Friday night, very stylish, with music almost too loud. We had two of the most expensive martinis I have ever drunk but they were doubles so I think that may have upped the cost.
The staff was very helpful with all of our needs, the room was great, the bed was comfortable and the location was outstanding.
I would definitely consider going back, the location is perfect and all in all we loved the hotel.

Room Tip: We upgraded so I am not sure what to recommend.

I only used my senior executive room and no other amenities other than tea in the lobby. The rooms are quiet tho mine rather grey in colour and lighting dull too. Expensive but well located (my room had a view of Nelson's statue).

Room Tip: upgrade on arrival to get good deal

Great location. Rooms nice, clean and good size with high ceilings. Proper bathroom with both walk-in shower and bath tube. Staff are helpful and friendly, but not pushy. Weakest link is the breakfast. It is being served underground (no windows), staff are "young and relaxed" but not very attentive or professional necessarily. Prepare to wait for a table (we waited for 20 minutes). Food is pretty good and there are lots to choose from.

A great location, comfortable rooms and staff who really do try and help you,we had a mix up with beds and they switched them,my kids wanted to see the rooftop bar and the Concierge who's name escapes me took us on an early morning private tour ! Stuff like this makes a difference ,the only real bug bear is early checkin when traveling from Australia ,it looks like housekeeping rules the roost here and jet lagged tourists come off second best ! At least be able to offer a shower and somewhere to change.
As a family we were very happy with adjoining rooms and all in all loved our time here.
One tip is buy the breakfast vouchers in advance ,kids eat free so two adults and two boys (10 and 12) eat a sumptuous breakfast for 26 pounds a day !
