The hotel rooms have been renovated since my last stay, and I appreciated the larger shower in Room 7. Nicholas the owner was on site almost daily and helped to ensure that the new resident managers kept up the high standard. The hotel continues to provide excellent service at an affordable price.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back.

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of 4. It was well located near to Kings Cross and many attractions, being able to walk to Tottenham Court Road, the theatre and even Covent Garden, when feeling energetic!
We had a family room which was quite cosy, it was very clean with good facilities, tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit, toiletries etc. the rooms are as per hotel website, pleasantly decorated with a modern feel.
Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from including a full English, with as much tea and toast as you could manage.
Staff were always pleasant and very helpful, even returning by post a small item we had left, thank you!
Would highly recommend this hotel good facilities and good value.

Room Tip: There is no pool, but couldn't get rid once I'd clicked it!

We stayed for 2 weeks and had to move rooms a couple of times and even had to stay in another hotel for a night. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay at the Arosfa as Martin, Liga and the housekeeping/kitchen staff were very professional, warm and very helpful. It felt like we were coming home each night. The hotel is well lit and very clean. Some rooms are tiny but others were alright. I would stay there again. :D

The Arosfa is a cozy hotel in the heart of London's Bloomsbury district, within close proximity and easy access to all tourist attractions. The couple that runs the hotel are energetic and friendly, and very busy. The breakfast is wholesome and large, if not gourmet. The rooms are tiny, but clean and attractive. If your visit is in the summer, lack of air conditioning may affect comfort.

Had a lovely ground floor room for 1 night, enjoyed a good night's sleep as it was quiet. Room was great but as it was a double I guess it would be small for 2people. The shower was great with jets as well as main shower. Plenty of brewing facilities in room and both apples and biscuits. Breakfast was full English with hot toast. I was down at 7.30 am and was swiftly served so I could be off at 8am. Room spotlessly clean. Very close to Euston and underground services.

This hotel is in what was once a private home. It appears that the rooms have been divided into 2, so that they are tiny. Very tiny. But assuming you want a reasonable price and will be spending a minimum amount of time in the room, it's fine. Full English breakfast is included, in a cute subterranean breakfast room. Service is fine. The hotel is within walking distance of the British Museum, the theater district and (if you like to walk) even the Thames and all of the sites nearby. If you son't like to walk, a bus runs right in front of the place. Good value. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Amenities are limited. For instance, no A/C.

Just one night in this conveniently placed and reasonably priced hotel. We had a comfortable room and and good breakfast. Particularly noteworthy was the attentive and pleasant service from the staff, Martin and Liga who helped us in a number of ways with politeness and good humour.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Arosfa Hotel is a refurbished 200-year old Georgian Town House in the heart of historic Bloomsbury district, the former home of the famous Pre-Raphaelite artist Sir John Everett Millais. The cool white garden squares and wide streets of Bloomsbury have been a pull to thinkers for centuries, and it sometimes seems like every second house has a blue plaque denoting that a great writer, scientist or philosopher once inhabited the building. It was in Bloomsbury that Karl Marx created communism, Virginia Woolf defined the twentieth century British novel, and Charles Darwin first conceived the theory of natural selection. The imposing bulk of the British Museum, home to seven millennia of human art and artefacts, dominates the area, and there are plenty of other academic institutions including Birkbeck College, the beautiful University of London Library, and RADA, London's grandest drama school. ... more   less
