Visited as was staying in the hotel! Amazing views but not so amazing prices! I had a mojito which was £10.50. If you head to one of the nearest cocktail bars you can get two for £8.50 in happy hour! Nevertheless it's worth it for the skyline.

Cocktails are not cheap, but well worth it. Chris the barman was awesome... one of the best mojitos I have ever had

“The most sublime view with the most expensive drinks!”
Reviewed May 4, 2013 via mobile

We came here on 4th May 2013. We had come onto Central London for a bite to eat and then had heard about the views from the skylounge at this hotel, so thought we would come up for a drink. It is worth pointing out that this is not called the Mint hotel anymore, it is called the Doubletree.
12 floors up from the terrace you get the most spectacular views over London. We were here when it was dark so everything was lit up, but I expect it would be just as good during the daylight. You can see the Shard Tower, the Tower of London, and Tower Bridge, an opportunity to take some great photos. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have seen some reviews on here that said the drinks were a bit expensive. A bit! What lets this place down a little bit is the price of the drinks, it is simply ridiculous! There were four of us in our party, and we had a bottle of Stella Lager, a bottle of Cider and two glasses of wine, and it came to £32.50! Now I know you are paying for the view, but £8 per drink, just ridiculous! It took the shine of it a little bit, apart from that it was simply fantastic. Recommended but just beware of the price of drinks!

Great place to have a relaxing drink and great views of London. Drinks are a little expensive but you pay for the view, worth at least one drink on your visit.
