We had a lovely meal here on New Years Eve before we went to a show. The portions were ok for tapas, The tomato bread, meat balls and potato bravas were really tasty. Our daughter who has lived in Spain says it is the best tapas she has eaten in the UK.

The cava sangria was especially nice and a little different from the traditional Sangria.

We had almond cake to finish which could have done with a little more cream or icecream

We had a great dinner at Jamon Jamon it is hidden off of the Main Street of Charing Cross. When you see Salsa turn into the courtyard area and you will find this quaint Spanish gem. I am surprised it is not rated a lot higher. If you are going to the theater have dinner here. We told them and service was fast and efficient . They are very busy so don't worry about having a conversation with your server let them bring the food and drink and talk with each other. Also this is not a quiet place it is alive with energy.

Our Tapas were very tasty having shared prawns, the meat combo with chicken, lamb chops, chorizo, and pork all with a different seasoning all very very good. The olive bowl was awesome, these were as good or better than any we had in Italy. Ask for the cocktail list and the wine and drink list so you can choose. The sangria was excellent. We did not have time to order Paella since it takes 30-40 minutes and says so on the menu, but the table behind us had some and they raved about it. Nor did we have time for dessert but we will the next time we go to the theater in London it is definitely worth a second visit. The prices were the lowest of any we have had in London most dishes are $6.95 or less and $14.95 for a jug of Sangria so whoever wrote that this is not cheap must be used to going to Taco Bell for their other meals.

Booked this for 5 people for a pre-show dinner, but ate really early and off the a la carte menu. Service was fast and friendly, the food choices very comprehensive and the atmosphere (despite being early) was good. Dishes ranged from £5- £8 each and the wine and sangria were well priced and tasty. I would go back again. All round a good experience.

A group of friends and I wandered into Jamon Jamon at the weekend looking for a quick bite to eat and to escape the rain, and ended up staying all night.

While the food prices aren't cheap, they're not over-priced in terms of value as the portions are huge. The food was good - the Spanish cheeseboard was lovely, but I guess you can't go wrong with Manchego! The only criticism I have of the menu is that I would have liked to have seen some cold cheeses and meats as single tapas dishes, rather than only being available if you paid for a sharing board. Also the wine was kind of expensive. The cheapest bottle of red was £10, but the second cheapest jumped to £18.

The reason we stayed all night, however, was the ambience and great atmosphere. The main restaurant area upstairs has a lovely cosy feeling, with soft lighting and nice wall decorations (think decorative wine racks, etc). The staff were all really friendly, and when they came to tell us that unfortunately they were closing, they even gave us all free shots - I don't know what was in them, but they were delicious! We'll definitely be going back.

We have been to Jamon Jamon both in Camden and on Charing Cross Road. Both restaurants have had great atmosphere, wonderful food & attentive service. The paella is especially lovely, it must be freshly made as it tastes so good!
Great value as well pre-theatre. If you are on the normal menu, well tapas is generally quite pricey but they are generous on the portion sizes and for 2 I'd recommend maximum 6 dishes.
Overall we've been multiple times and we've never been disappointed.
