“Tally ho, off you go.”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Me and my boyfriend did this tour over the new year and I would 100% reccommend it.. It is awesome. Jack is a very amiable and likeable guy. You not only get to ride around London seeing the sights but you also get a little mini history lesson. Jack does not waffle on like some tour guides but gives you enough information to make it interesting. You also get to stop at a pub and after 2 gin and tonics I was brave enough to hollar 'Tally Ho' to a passer by, to which he replied 'Off you go', which did make me chuckle. We did notice other bike tours but this tour wins hands down with the bikes that are used. Big thanks to Tally Ho for a memorable afternoon.

“The BEST tour we did in London!!!”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Myself, my husband, and my brother in law all did this tour on a cold and somewhat windy day. We were a little aprehensive about how comfortable the bikes would be, and were happily mistaken about the leather seats. They really are VERY comfortable.

Jack, the owner of this little company clearly gives his all for the people on his tour. He chose some of the most amazing vintage bikes to use, has researched dozens of funny little tid-bits of history and anecdotes about his home town of London, and was very safety concious as well. Plus, it was clear to us right from the get go that he wanted us to enjoy being in his city, because he himself loves it! And it was also evident in the way he cycled us around respectfully in the city, and shared his stories with us.

This tour was great value for money, and I would even say that he could charge more and we would have been happy to pay it. In fact the only critique the three of us had was that the tour was too short in length, as we wanted to spend even more time with Jack learning about London from a locals viewpoint.

If you plan on cycling with Tally-Ho, and Jack, this winter, I suggest that you bring some warm gloves and a good coat with you and be ready for a great cycling tour with a guide who loves what he does!!

Tally-Ho! Is the best bike tour in London.

“Quirky, quixotic and quintessentially British”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

If you want an amusing and enjoyable ride away from the bustle, this is the best way to see the sights. It's very gentle and relaxing: the bikes are wonderfully nostalgic, and Jack's style is very easygoing and engaging. We even took in an award winning pub, and this was especially welcome as it was a very cold and windy day. But that didn't stop us having a great time. I would strongly recommend it.

This tour is Something a bit different to do in London, it was a really good morning seeing all the major sights, with excellent commentary and interesting facts throughout. I would highly, highly recommend this tour to everyone, all abilities as very gentle, slow riding.

“Best thing we did in London!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Our ride with Jack was amazing. First of all, Jack has the patience of a saint - we were coming from across town, the tube was down, then a few in our group needed to grab a sandwich because they were starving. So we ended up starting our tour 20 minutes late - but Jack was so nice about it.

Also while we were on our tour, we saw a lot of other bike tours but ours was definitely the best. Jack told great stories at each stop that weren't just about the physical places, which was great and memorable. The bikes at Tally Ho are really unique, they're handmade in England, and Jack put fun bells on them that we could ring at the competing bike groups *ding!* And Jack doesn't make you carry your bike up the stairs in front of the national museum :)

But the main reason we liked Tally Ho was because we didn't have much time in London over new years and this was the best way to see the top attractions that we could then come back to see on the limited time we had later. And Jack was able to give us some great recommendations for pubs and fish and chips. We go on bike tours in nearly every city we travel to and this was the best we've done in Europe so far! We would definitely go back to see Jack again!
