A guided walk around some lesser known parts of London, with a brief history of the surrounding area, including a visit to a selection of very traditional British Pubs, all with a history of their own. Highly recommended. Don't forget comfortable walking shoes!!

Great way to spend an evening learning more about London and its history. Very well researched guides. If you want to see some of the finest examples of London's taverns, London's Architecture, where Dickens based so many of his books, and much more, then this is the tour for you. Do not be late as tours start promptly and do ask questions as you will only learn more.....enjoy and drink in the atmosphere...

The tour started and ended a pub and in between took in Dickens' London, concentrating on the Inns of Court and Chancery. Nuggets of history and architecture lightened by beer in four fantastic pubs. Our guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable and certainly knew amazing pubs that I never found in twenty years in London. If you like good beer, extraordinary ambience and gently stroll with a little history thrown in, this is a tour not to be missed.

Last week I joined a group on a new walking tour in London. This one was a bit different to others I've been on in that it took in historic pubs as part of the tour and also taught you about English traditions of real ale and the British institution of the pub. To say that this was a pub tour would be incorrect however as it would not do justice to the plethora of historic detail that was imparted aswell as the wonderful hidden squares, gardens and architecture that were all part of this tour. It was run by a man who clearly had a genuine interest in history and enjoyed imparting his extensive knowledge (smattered with some salacious details to keep it light!). I'd recommend this tour to anyone - the group I was with was quite mixed in age, ranging from about 21 to 65 I'd say, and everyone seemed to get as much out of it as I did. The only criticism, there are currently only two London Tavern Trails apparently, so more please.

I enjoyed the tour immensely - highly professional guides who obviously loved their subject and knew a huge amount of London history and architecture. This avalanche of information was delightfully interrupted by stops in the most amazing pubs. We were even given advice on the best beer to order in each pub. Even I, who worked in this area for 4 years, did not know any of the pubs or the history we heard about.
The most wonderful way to spend a nice spring/summer evening
