The dumplings were quite nice, but the rest of the food we had was very average. One dish had hardly any meat, which would be ok if the rest of it wasn't big chunks of lemongrass & dried chilli which were simply unpleasant.
It wasn't very busy & its a huge place and everyone was forced to squash up in the window too close to everyone else, despite one couple clearly asking to sit elsewhere.
Oh, and it smelled of that disinfectant they used to use when cleaning up sick at infants school.

Being the year of the horse, this restaurant with a horse exhibited out front looked like the place to eat on a lovely night out. Boy was were mistaken!!!

The only thing good there was the doorman. Go past him and it's pure crap in solid state. Poor service, hurried to make oder, crap cold food, miserable staff and a PROMISE not to ever, ever, ever go there again. U better off at ur local eat all u can. Avoid it if u can. Better value for money all around the place.

Visited here in the evening a couple of Saturdays ago. The restaurant was busy, we were shown to a table on the 3rd floor. The service was slow and the dishes were served on cold plates! (Although our waiter at that point in time was good enough to microwave it when we asked). The Dumplings were amazing though and that redeems it a bit and our tofu dish was also very good. It took ages to get a top up of tea and we nearly didn't bother as the bill took so long to arrive. When the bill did arrive we got a shock that gratuity had been added on, and not even 10% but over that amount! Not impressed. We would've been happy to leave a cash tip after paying the bill as our service hadn't been terrible and they reheated the dish when we requested, but we didn't have change so ended up paying what the food actually cost.
I don't think we would bother returning, by the sounds of it there are plenty of better Dim Sum restaurants in Chinatown.

Visited this restaurant for my mum's birthday. Never again! Would have to be paid to consider going again. The service was dire, nothing was explained properly and we were kept waiting for ages yet others were dealt with immediately.

Trading Standards might like to pay a visit: the prices charged inside this establishment are a good 10% higher than those on the advertisement boards outside. Generally I’d agree with previous reviewers’ comments: Service (rather anonymous), Ambiance (poor, as tables are a bit of a crush), Food (satisfactory…..but the dumplings are admittedly divine) and Value (much better choices in Gerrard Street). A spicy chicken dish with dried red chillies was agreeably hot but the chillies themselves were almost inedible, resembling loops of red cellulose. I won’t be returning.
