i had booked 2 rooms for myself and my husband and for my sister and her husband, we where let in by the man on the reception desk (that was also the dining room) he sat down gave us our keys and told us where our room were, my sisters was 4 floors up and we were in the basement, he did not show us the rooms.
our room was very small, the shower had no rail so the shower head was just dangling on the floor when we told the man he said we could have the room next door that was even smaller, we had to walk side ways to get to the kettle behind the bed.
my sisters room was a bit bigger but the radiator did not work so there was a fan heater, it was quite cold so they had to have it on at night witch was very noisy.
we were told when i phoned up there was hair dryers in the rooms but when we got there we had to ask for them only to be told to ask again in the morning.
the breakfast room had a computer desk for the reception that the man sat at when we were having breakfast, there was a table with the breakfast things on it and 4 table and chairs it was so cramped that all the chairs could not be used at once and some guest were told to come back later for breakfast.
the breakfast was a carton of orange juice on each the table, and weetabix or cornflake, pots of yogurt and fruit on the table with the kettle and crockery on, you could have fried or scrambled eggs and toast.
there was a mix of cups and dishes some of them cracked and not very appetizing.
it was cheap and o maybe not cheerful, but if you are not to worried about cramped room and cramped dinning rooms then i suppose it would do but we will not be staying there again

Definitely not to recommend!!!
Stayed there recently for one night only and booked a double room on booking.com
Pictures looked absolutely fine and it was a reasonable option just for one night but we were so disappointed. Ok the staff was friendly, lady who served the breakfast was very nice and breakfast actually surprisingly good but simple.
Our room was up in the loft with two small double beds, the room was small and dirty and very noisy, dirty old carpets, dodgy lock on the door, small dirty bathroom, shower not working properly. It just wasn't an acceptable hotel room and the money wasn't wasted....

Booked a twin room (2 double beds) for three people through booking.com as we needed somewhere close to qpr ground on the Saturday night (football) (cost £92 b and b) this hotel spot location for anything located in shepherds bush including local theatre football ground bbc and local shopping centre. Checked in early and left bags for free. Hotel has twin hotel around 5 houses down. Room (number12) clean and so was on suite barroom (shower) the breakfast wasn't worth the effort although it was an amusing 15 mins , crowded and only cooked eggs and toast, rest was a choice of fruit and crushed weetanix manager was on Internet between serving, not enough bowls and not enough cutlery but cheap and ok for one might stay

I DO NOT recommend this hotel. Visited for a friends hen weekend, we chose this as it was basic and reasonable. When we arrived we were told that we had not been given the room we had booked. We accepted this, once we had unloaded our luggage, the member of staff dealing with us informed us of why we couldn't have the room we requested, we were told that the someone had attempted to sexually assault the cleaner the previous night. We could not understand why you would tell your guests this, let alone 4 young women. We decided to go up to the room to discuss what to do. When we arrived at the room, it was tiny, the pillows and bedding were filthy. Also the entire window had been smashed and sealed with tissue paper. We decided were not going to stay and headed down to get a refund on what we had already paid, at first they refused, my mother had paid for the deposit on her card so obviously we did not have her card with us, and with the circumstances we demanded the money be put onto a different card or cash given, they refused to give us cash so put it onto another card with the promise of instant transfer, it had been almost a week since we arrived. Still no refund. Don't be fooled by the cheap prices, This hotel is just awful.

Room Tip: Do not stay here.

In spite I had my room reservation confirmed 2 days prior to our arrival by hotels.com, we (me, wife and 3 kids) were told by arrival from the man at the front desk that our reservation, that is our booked room was cancelled. The message was simply that our room was taken by others, or more specific the room had been booked twice. Due to other reviews at this site this isn´t the first time this problem occurs. "Funny thing" was that he knew we were coming, but at no point we were told by this cancellation before we arrived. To me, now, it´s very clear and obvious that they, Comfotel, simply overbook rooms, so in case of late cancellations made by people who have regretted or are in no need of their bookings, won´t end up with empty rooms..(in most of the booking sites like hotels.com you actually can get your money back if you regret your booking up to 1 day prior to arrival). A problem you obviously won´t meet many places for sure, this is for sure no way to run a serious and decent hotel/BB. We booked through Hotels.com and by the time home I phoned them and got my money back.. of course.
