Hotel is clean, nicely decorated without being outstanding - probably how you would really want a Premier or a Travelodge to be. Nice amenities in room well laid out and good gym / Spa facilities - not many very top end hotels can boast a 25m pool. Bar pleasant enough with friendly staff but very small. Restaurant should be avoided - after the most bland rabbit dish I had ever tasted on my first night (where they even somehow managed to mess up the chips) - despite my better judgement, a mixture of cold weather and laziness made me eat in again the following night. This time I went for steak. Although it was more edible than the previous night's... It. Just. Wasn't. Very. Good. There is a wetherspoons next door to the Grange - I imagine their 2.99 steak would be much tastier than this 22.99 lump of untended blandness. Conclusion. Friendly staff (reception, bar and front of house), pleasantish surroundings, godamnawful food made by either the inexperienced or the incompetent.

A great 'mystery hotel' deal, otherwise a bit too pricey for me. Room was comfortable, excellent shower, smart TV .... urban outlook for a view.

Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Spa was closed in the evenings so didn't get to use the pool and other facilities... shame.

Food very good either in the bar or the restaurant and excellent breakfast selection if a bit pricey at £20 for full English and £15 for continental.

Weekend break.Gorgeous large modern room with partial view of the Gerkin.Didnt feel overlooked and slept very well with no traffic noise.Large comfortable bed.All the mod cons. Lovely boutique style bathroom. Wasn't too keen on the lobby area which was very drafty and led straight onto the restaurant.I also didn't like having to go down the side of the restaurant to get to our room.I did find a slight musty smell at times at the top of the lift on our corridor. The breakfasts were very nice with a good selection. You could upgrade to a full English if you wished for an extra £5 each.Staff were very nice and helpful.Overall a good choice for London but a bit out of the way.

Just returned from a 2 night weekend break. We stayed in room 1104 on the 11th floor {out of 14!} and we very much enjoyed the views and the lifts were amazingly speedy and fantastic glass ones where you can see everything whilst going up and down! We had a superior room and it was very nice and comfortable, the bed was superb and huge! I loved the bathroom - HUGE mirror, lovely bath and impressive shower. The maid came whilst we were out on night one and 'turned' down our bed and left mints on the pillow - nice touch! The internet was very usefull and easy to set-up, and the TV was great. We had the full English breakfast and the choice was good - loved the fresh fruit as well and the danishes! The staff are all very helpful/polite {esp in the dining room!} - you really do feel like you are staying somewhere luxury.
Tower Hill tube is about a 6-7 minute walk and a straight run from Victoria.
I will be back here!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights in a double supierior room. The room was great! Big room with sofa & chairs. The furniture was all you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The shower is AMAZING! The staff are all happy to help & alway polite. If you get the breakfast it is not your poor continental breakfast of stale meat & bread. There's several pastries, fresh breads & meat, several cereals & fruit juices. There was a hot breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes, beans & sausages. I strongly recommend having breakfast before 9am to avoid queuing.

The pool area is great to relax in. There's a foot massage, sauna, steam room , large jacuzzi & lots of massage treatments. It's a great relaxing environment.

It's a 5 minute walk to the tube (tower hill) and taxis always available.

I would definately stay there again in my next trip to London

I have stayed here twice and both times the rooms have been of the same high standard. Large comfy bed, clean bathroom, ironing board, good tv channels. The decor is modern but classical and fittings are of a very high standard. The breakfast was excellent, self service buffet of full English and contental selections. The leisure area and pool are really nice and relaxing with a great swimming pool and jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The Hotel is situated close to Tower Hill tube station on the District and Circle line, which was unfortuantely closed when we were there, but is also accessible from Liverpool street and Tower Bridge. Also lots of buses nearby. Only sight criticism is that on the wing of the hotel we were only has two liftys sevicing 11 floors and one of them was out of order, meaning lengthy waits for the lift which often frustratingly whizzed past full. Would definitely stay here again

My boyfriend surprised me by booking this hotel, and it is a posh hotel! A nice gentlemen greeted us at the entrance and took our luggage through. As we entered the reception there were about 6-7 staff members behind the desk which felt a bit too much as we didn't know who to go to. The staff member was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. The room is a standard size and very modern. We used the swimming pool which we hoped would be tranquil and relaxing; however the excitement of children didn't make it a relaxing experience, therefore we didn't stay long. We didn't eat at the hotel as we went out for dinner and the price for breakfast was a bit steep for what you get, but there is a Wetherspoons next door. We had a nice view of the buidlings surrounding the hotel such as The Gherkin. The hotel did feel slightly business-like, however there were other couples and families staying too. As this was a birthday surprise i don't know how much the room cost therefore wouldn't know if it is worth the money, but it is a very high-class hotel.
