I live locally to this place and its such a great place to take friends and family if I want to save on the washing up. The food is tasty and always cooked to perfection. The restaraunt itself has almost a rustic feel, I think it's family run, well you certainly get a sense of that too. If your expecting fine dining with all that it comes with this is not here. Instead you are presented with friendly staff , good hearty food at exceptionally low prices. It's also bring your own wine, so that adds to the reasonable price . The bread basket is a must have with hommus . Give it a go I'm very glad I did .

Might seem a little out of the way, but in fact it's not that far from Paddington station and even closer to Royal Oak tube. The good news is that it is really worth the trek if you want to try out genuine Persian & Afghan cuisine - several of the former in London but very much fewer of the latter. This is real comfort food - we both went for the mantu (dumplings) and they were just great - steamed minced beef / lamb parcels mixed with minced onions and spices, and served with a tomato/split peas sauce & yoghurt.

A little empty at lunchtime, but friendly service and reasonable value makes it a winner. We'll definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.
