“Went on the Salsibury, Stonehenge, Bath Tour”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

Booked through hotel. Tour bus was 45 minutes late to pick up at hotel. Then we waited at Victoria Station another 45 minutes and left almost 2 hours late. The price I paid upfront was 49 pounds. i assumed this included admission to the sites. Who takes a bus ride on a tour and doesn't go into the sites? Once on the bus we were informed we needed to pay another 25 pounds for admission to the sites!!! The fee to enter the church ( when we got there I read the sign...was FREE donation only) The tour company collected 6.50 Pounds for that entry alone. I asked for my money back...REFUSED!!!

The tour guide had someone in training. He read somethings off a paper. Very poor presentation.

Very dissapointing tour. Do not recommend this company!!!

“Warwick Castle, Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon Evan Evans Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

We booked an English day tour this March and it was excellent. It would have been nice to have a bit more time at Oxford but it was still a great tour. A great bonus is that Evan Evans pay for prime parking spots and we got to the front door at Warwick Castle. Our tour guide Russell was very entertaining and knew a lot about the attractions - he even shared a lot of info of the area just on the drive. We had a great time even though the traffic situation was awful! On the way there we were slowed down for a broken down van and on the way back part of the highway was blocked due to an overturned truck. Rusell and the driver Graham had to think on their feet and they did a great job to try to keep us close to the schedule. It was a great value for the money.

“Only downside was the dual languages spoken”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath tour was the one we were on. Ample time in each place and the guide was funny, kept our attention, and knew everything. Literally everything. The only downside is we were on a Japanese speaking tour as well as English which had we known that in advance probably would have booked otherwise- the tour broker's website didn't mention anything about it. I've been on these before and the foreign language is spoken first and then English (every time, i don't know why) and once the English starts the foreign speakers start talking and we can't hear the guide. The bus wasn't what I'd consider luxury, but it was nice. I'd give EE tours another shot. Wish I could remember his name because he was the only guide we actually tipped on our vacation.

“Travelled ourselves”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

The castle is amazing and the surrounding park as well. You'll see ducks, squirrels and peacocks there.
We 50 pounds for one adult, including train from Victoria and back, bus from Bearsted to the castle and back and ticket to the castle. Use google maps for detailed directions.

The tour company does everything as expected and provides cheap transportation to all of these sites. It's a shame there isn't a Windsor/Stonehenge tour as I had little interest to go to Oxford... did find some good fish n chips in Oxford though.

To be honest the sites are ok, but it is more of a bucket list check off thing. Maybe if it wasn't so damn windy at Stonehenge I would have a different review.

Make sure you go to the park at Windsor for a great picture and view of the castle... the park is off the beaten path.
