“Tasty but overpriced”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The food was tasty but serving size is small and prices are high in comparison. I found the tables incredibly annoying as they are flimsy metal so when you/your dining partner leans on it the whole thing shakes. Finding a good Mexican in London is a nightmare!

“Excellent”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Ate here a few times during a trip in June 2013. The service was prompt, the prices were reasonable, the portions were filling, and the food was amazing. It was just what was needed both on a solo lunch and a night out with friends. The arrachera enchiladas were perfect and the ensalada de nopalitos was an interesting try recommended by the waiter during the girls' night out.

“Amazing - try the ceviche and churros”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We have been here a few times and it gets better each time. The service is great, really nice atmosphere and the food is amazing. Definitely try the ceviche and the churros (with caramel - not my usual option but the waiter suggested it and we loved it). It can get pricey so just be careful with how much you order; its so tasty you dont need loads of food to feel satisfied.

Lunch, several times from Jan 2013. Uneventful mexican with small portions, which quickly add up. Definately try their lemonade when you're there!

“Very busy + a little cramped, but very good for central London.”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

We turned up without pre-booking on a Friday night in June. It was only a 20 minute wait for a table, which wasn't too bad. Waiting area is a little cramped, but the restaurant was rammed, so that's to be expected. We got a seat at the bar area, overlooking the central kitchen. This was slightly cramped, but amusing to watch the head waiter + a chef having a heated argument. To be fair, they were super busy + the waiting staff seemed to be under pressure, whilst the kitchen staff seemed to be more relaxed about the whole thing. Out smiley waitress soon took our order = the food arrived reasonable quickly. we had guacamole + tortilla chips, cactus salad (strangely slimy + tasty at the same time) for starters with a refreshing acqua di Jamaica (hibiscus flower drink) which was all very good. Main course was burritos, which were very tasty + very filling. with no room for dessert we paid our bill (12.5% service charge added automatically, which was very fair) + left full + happy. Highly recommended.
