As one of the most popular restaurants providing authentic Mexico City cuisine in London, the chefs at Lupita pride themselves on the authenticity of their dishes. Choosing to use only fresh, flavoursome ingredients to create exciting and tastebud tingling dishes, the menus at Lupita are a true reflection of the incredible flavours, colours and smells found throughout Mexico. In September 2012, Zagat, the worldwide ratings and reviews website for restaurants, released their London 2012 survey results announcing that Lupita had made the top five Mexican restaurants in the city.Enjoy a wide range of dishes from tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and enchiladas to salads, soups and totopos (traditional homemade tortilla chips) before washing it all down with one of Lupita’s much loved margaritas (made with 100% agave tequila). The team at Lupita are also proud to offer diners the opportunity to taste some of Mexico’s hard-to-find beers including Pacifico, Modelo Especial and Negra Modelo as well as a variety of Mexican, South American and Spanish wines.

“Table by the toilet”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Good service and a decent meal, but we were seated on the table next to the men's toilet. Each time the door opened the smell was dreadful. Very annoying especially because we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. Will not go back in a hurry.

“Bit of Mexican in London”

Nice meal, nice change, fresh Mexican food.

Ideal if going to see a show at the Playhouse theatre, minutes from both embankment tube station and the theatre

“Friendly Mexican, great food, reasonable prices”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We visited here for the second time, after the theatre at around 10.30pm and it was still reasonably busy with a good atmosphere. The welcome was friendly and the menu a good selection of mexican classics and some new things to try. Prices are reasonable for central London. The crab and advacado salad is delicious and fresh. The tacos are quite small and the friendly staff warn those with a larger appetite to order two. They are good value at just over £5 each. They recommended a light mexican beer to me and it was just right. The previous time we visited was on a Saturday lunch time with a larger party. Again we were made to feel welcome and the service was just as good. An good central venue for a different quick meal.

“Great Mexican Food”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

Great honest mexican food. The service is a bit patchy. I would reccomend staying clear of their special beers as they taste 'interesting'

“Great crew”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

My daughter and I had dinner twice because of the great crew. They worked so hard and still they were friendly and funny. We sat at the counter in order to be able to watch them work their magic. Loved the place.
