“Beware of your possessions – Thieving Staff!”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Went here for a Friday evening. However, my friends bag was ‘stolen’.
It contained all her possessions leaving here with no way of getting home at 1am (thank god for a good friend coming to her rescue!)

She rang the pub the next day to be told her bag hadn’t been handed in.
However, after informing the police there was progress. Apparently the manager had her bag – and had store it at their home. 3 week later she got the bag back.
The manager who had the bag was conveniently not there to explain when she collected!!
AND on looking, her PHONE AND IPOD were MISSING…

The ‘Manager’ made no effort to contact her – even though her Drivers Licence and various other forms of ID were in there… and she had spent a lot of money and time replacing some items that were eventually returned.

Basically, avoid this place at all costs!

“Don't go there if you want an enjoyable experience”
Reviewed September 28, 2013 via mobile

Recently visited this place and was surprised how rude the management were. Terrible service which ruined a good night out for me and a group of 20 friends. There are plenty of other places nearby which are a lot better

“Amazing burgers!”
Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

These are the best burgers in town! I had the 30 Burger which was big and cooked to my liking (medium rare), with cheese and coleslaw, and came with fries. Deeelicious! At £15 we're not talking cheap, but worth it! The bar itself has a good atmosphere and a young crowd.

“Loud food”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

Be prepared for lots of noise as the hard floors and walls really amplifies the noise. It has a nice buzz, good mix of people and lots of tables for dining. The menu is more modern than traditional pub and our steak came out with chunky hand cut fried stacked 3 x 4 perpendicular, 1/2 a fried tomato and a portobello mushroom. Looked good and tasted good. We had a side of creamed spinach, which I am sure was creamed silver beet. We (2 of us) sat a large table for 8 and soon others joined our table - unfortunately one cannot say no to overly inebriated "mates" on a shared table and that was a downside.
