This is very smart food, presented simply and beautiful. If you love expertly crafted sushi, sashimi, maki and root vegetables then this is the place for you. All of this is complimented by a thoughtful drink, sake, wine menu.
It is pricey but you get what you pay for. There are quite a number of sushi chefs, an open kitchen and a few food runners and a couple other women that oversaw our meal. I don't think the quality needed this many gatekeepers, but it did ensure we were looked after quite well.
I prefer plates removed when everyone at the table is finished and this procedure seemed to happen too often and our service felt rushed.
Dessert is classic Japanese, we skipped it.
But we'll be back for amazing Omakase, Prawn Maki soon!
