Served between 3 and 5pm in 4th floor Georgian restaurant. We enjoyed a fixed menu which our waiter said hadn’t changed in the three years he’d been there.

It consisted of tea of your choice, or coffee, in a constantly refilled pot, three contrasting mini sandwiches and cucumber yogurt drink (to clear palette). Followed by two scones with cream, strawberry and rose jams then a selection of cake, tart, macaroon & chocolate torte.
See tea menu on Harrods website. Grand piano was played in background.
We received this treat as a gift. Done it once and enjoyed it. Looking for another treat now!

The most tremendous buffet we have ever had to pleasure to attend. The food was absolutely out of this world. So many varieties of all three courses to choose. The dining room itself is huge, with a pianist playing a medley of current and classical tunes. Amazingly attentive waiting staff. Would highly recommend. It is a tad on the pricey side, but every penny is well spent. Just make sure you go with an empty stomach.

Nice surroundings on the 4th floor of Harrods close to lifts one side and nice washrooms the other.
Greeted and seated promptly - maitre d' was very welcoming.
Surroundings are pleasant although end of October is a little early for Christmas decorations and music for me.
Whenever we go we always seem to have slightly wobbly but nonetheless comfortable chairs.
Service was generally good and surprisingly child friendly.
We all ordered the buffet / carvery at £46 per adult and £23 for children.
Stater selection, as ever, was excellent - both the range and quality. The main course
carvery is also very good. Between us we tried the Beef, turkey and lamb and all were tasty with a gravy for each.
One or two of the puddings were very nice, particularly the bread and butter pudding. Other puds were rather ordinary though.
Wine by the glass was good quality and reasonable value at £6.50 - the recommended red was good and similarly priced.
Although expensive, given the quality and the location it seems reasonable value.
Overall, very enjoyable - no room left for coffee and madelines :)

I love harrods and go whenever I can. I usually rat in the terrace bar but today had afternoon tea in the georgian restaurant. The good thongs were the food which was lovely and a bit different ham and mustard, coronation chicken, goats cheese and a smoked salmon pancake introduced scones with both rose jelly and strawberry jam and clotted cream. The cakes were small and varied and lovely. The downside was the stains on some of the chairs and the mediocre service. I ate on my own and no one really spoke until the time for the bill. Perhaps they sensed I was thinking of rarely not leaving a tip it is good value in comparison to manyothers but it could be so much better

Visited Terrace Bar/Georgian Restaurant in September. My son had chicken soup followed by steak and spent the night being violently sick. Avoid.
