Description: The Curtains Up is part of Geronimo inns, and home to Barons Court Theatre. Our island bar boasts an array of craft lager & ale, a local bottle selection, premium spirits, and an ambitious wine list. Food is available everyday, in the bar as well as our dining room. We pride ourselves on our British seasonality when it comes to menu design. We offer Brunch through to supper, and of course, on Sundays, a traditional roast.

It was my second time in London, I didn't remember that you make your order at the counter. Everyone was very kind and helpful and my fish and chips was very good. I didn't remeber either that you brits serve a not very chilled beer, but the ale was good anyway. The atmosphere was cool! Thanks again, it was a pleasure.

Came here for a Sunday lunch and was hugely disappointed.
This used to be our favourite pub in London, we lived nearby and would come and eat/drink here at least once a week.
After moving away we returned after a year with a group of friends for Sunday lunch, all of us left feeling hungry still and saddened by what had happened to our old favourite.
Portions were tiny, one potatoe with a Sunday roast is not adequate! Nor is half a carrot and a dribble of gravy. When we asked for more potatoes the sullen and bored looking staff bought out 4 for a table of 10!
A mouse would have laughed at the meagre servings of cheese provided for the cheese board. Perhaps it should be renamed a celery and chutney board as that seemed to be the main theme.
On the plus side the wine and beer are kept well- if you can ever get served by the bar staff who seem to enjoy each others company rather than a paying customers.
There are no changing tables for babies and no disabled loo.
Pick up your game curtains up- there's a reason why the dining room was empty on a Sunday lunchtime...

My local one. A bit pricy, but worth it. Good pub food, great atmosphere. They have a restaurant part and a theatre downstairs.

Popped in for a beer late afternoon on a sunny Friday as on my route from the tube station - great building and layout but the staff would prefer to talk to each other rather than serve a customer who is stood in front of the bar with cash in his hand.

We ended up in The Famous Three Kings instead.........enough said.

This spacious pub is one of the Geronimo Inns Group and it's a good one, very close to Queen's Club and Barons Court Tube Station.
The theatre downstairs is a lovely added attraction but the real deal [with apologies to David Dickinson] is the restaurant area on the ground floor. The seating is comfy and the place is welcoming and light. A good choice from the kitchen is reasonably priced and there are some little gems on the wine list.
The bar is no slouch either, with a wide range of wines by the glass and some jolly good draught ales; Lager lovers are also well catered-for and there's always a wide range of Bar Snacks. Good for all types and groups, singles, ladies and the more mature client will all find something to be happy about.
