Arrived about 9pm on a Thursday evening in June - hadn't booked but it wasn't a problem getting a table. Pleasant greeting and our order was taken without us waiting too long. Perhaps it was quiet because previous diners had died whilst waiting for their order to arrive - we must have waited 30 mins (and it wasn't busy) for the starter - a bowl of mussels. So, whilst the staff were friendly, the service was slow; maybe its because they automatically add a 12.5% "discretionary" service charge to the bill. The mussels were very good to be fair but the 30 minute wait meant that it was about 10pm when we started our main course. My wife had a steak which was fine, I had a seafood spaghetti which was very ordinary and whist there was plenty of mussels in it, there was a dearth of other seafood. The house merlot was poor. Did I argue over the 12.5% tip - no, to be honest we were both tired and I couldn't be bothered. No, I wouldn't go again.
