A very luxurious feeling hotel - exquisite and stylish reception area and hallways. Well presented rooms which are always clean and tastefully decorated. Staff are always polite friendly and helpful. Only two niggles. One is the length of time it takes to get checked in. My last stay, there were two on the desk and I was at the head of hte queue for checking in - I waited a good 7 minutes to be attended to and then I had to wait whilst the receptionist had a long conversation with another member of staff. Then there are the lifts. They seem to take forever to come and there is invariably a queue which builds up so that by the time the lift has come, there are too many people to get in!
The other niggle is that there never seem to be enough electric sockets. One is always a continental socket which is great if you're from the continent, but for those of us with UK appliances, more than one UK socket would be great. But that's just a niggle.More
