My boyfriend and I chose to stay here for the second time after being overwhelmed with the service and views after our first visit. We arrived well before check in on Friday, but were given our room straight away! We had an executive room and were surprised to learn that this hotel offer the full English breakfast as well as continental for their executive guests. A lovely touch I must say! The executive lounge is small but cosy and was stocked well for the most of the weekend, also with alcohol from 6-8 in the evening. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was also brilliant with a selection that would suit anyone. We had a meal in the Columbia restaurant which was some of the best food I’ve had in a while. The free ferry to/from Canary Wharf made travelling through London easy as there is only a short walk to the Canary Wharf Underground from the dock. Staff were more than attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, a massive thank you to all the staff that made our stay a much needed relaxed one! All in all a lovely stay at this hotel and will no doubt we back again for many more stays.

Stayed for one night. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Had nice view of the river. Easily reached by included ferry from Canary Wharf. Good selection for breakfast but it was very busy and items could have been restocked more quickly. Would be nice to have something about the history of the buildings in the hotel information provided in the room. With two people in a room we would expect two chairs.

Stayed her ten times so far in 2018 and multiple times in 2017.

ROOMS
Spacious and well appointed albeit some rooms have very petit bathrooms.
The floor to ceiling windows offer lovely light but can make it a bit cold on arrival in winter or hot in summer - easily fixed though!
Beds very comfortable.

FOOD
breakfast is classic Hilton and is superb both for choice and value for money. Room service is okay but lacks healthy (filling) meals.

STAFF
Front of house are very polite and efficient and recognise frequent guests and expedite the check in when you ‘know the drill’. Room service is normally pretty quick too.
Two staff members stand out (forgive me for not noting names) - the female chef on a morning is a ray of light and always genuinely upbeat and the female check-in member (short dark hair, possibly with German heritage) is an excellent ambassador for the Hilton brand.

GETING ABOUT
there’s a free ferry service to hop across the river to Canary Wharf and the folks who run it are very accommodating and professional (they see you walking towards the gantry and wait for you). This is perfect for Canary Wharf and also means you’re only 5 mins walk from Canary Wharf tube for the rest of London - easy.
Note - the ferry gantry can be very steep on low tide so if you have any physical ailments it could feel a bit taxing to climb it.

GYM
the gym is one of the better examples of ~5 Hilton’s i use in London - with plenty cardio gear but importantly it has ‘proper’ weights (up to 30kg dumbbells).

Overall, I’ll continue to use this hotel for reasons stated above.

Got there early but was greeted with a big smile and shown our seats straight away where we were looked after by a charming Asian lady who could not have been any more welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely make a return visit as it was what was expected and more
