If you go for the £25 early evening 3-course menu, this is fantastic value for money. I cannot imagine the steaks for the full, later menu would be anything other than as good - if not better. Great service, great staff and great atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

We visited Hawksmoor seven dials having seen the reviews on this site and totally agree with the previous good comments .
The reception staff through to the waiters were the best we have come across , the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed , the menu is well set out and has a good range of steaks as you would expect at the top steak restaurant in London.
Our fish starters were top class as were our fillet steak and sirloin mains cooked perfectly , the wine list was very long but catered for all pockets . After finished our desert my wife was chatting to our waiter , who asked the reason for our visit , mentioned it was our wedding anniversary , he then returned with two complimentary glasses of champagne . A class touch from a top restaurant , we will return.

This place is Steak Central, so if you're into meat you'll enjoy.
For starters we had Pear, Walnut, Chicory and Blue Cheese Salad and Potted Beef and Mini Yorkshires.
For our main we shared a Prime Rib with triple cooked chips and roasted mushrooms, excellently cooked and thoroughly enjoyable.
Good attentive service without being overly intrusive.
Very noisy environment, so a place for dining with friends, not a romantic liaison.

Bit expensive but worth it for a decent meal. Nice atmosphere and chatty neighbouring table made the experience memorable.

Went here for a pre-theatre meal with our daughter and son-in-law Saturday 15 December 2012 and we opted for the 'express menu' which although limited in choice (3 of each course) was excellent value for money at £22 for 2 course or £25 for 3 courses. My daughter cannot eat any wheat/gluten and unlike in some places we have been the staff were very knowledgable and helpful about which dishes she could or couldn't have. Drinks were good too and the basement setting was fabulous and suprisingly roomy and spacious and overall we had a lovely meal and without being rushed at all were in and out in under 2 hours which gave plenty of time for the 10 minute walk to the theatre (Harold Pinter theatre in Panton Street).
