Was planning on staying longer but cancelled. Room smelt as though it was used by a smoker. Bed was terrible, so soft that I couldn't sleep properly. Getting wifi access was reasonably painful, code had to be printed out and brought to room.

I do apologise that you feel our services and rooms were not to your standard, as well as you had decided not to stay in our Hotel and find alternative accommodation.

I will take immediate action to re-train all members of staff as bed boards should have been offered to accommodate your requirements and to ensure best stay at Rydges Kensington London.

Regarding smell in the rooms I will make sure that air misting machine is used at all times or other room offered depending on availability to guarantee best standards.

We enjoyed our all too short stay in a quiet room with a comfortable bed and good shower at the rear of the hotel. The continental breakfast was excellent too. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel is just 200m from the tube in a great location with plenty of bars , shops and restaurants . Room was nice , Huge bed and nice bathroom , Breakfast nice but limited choice . I was annoyed that in 2013 there was not free wifi there are lesser chained hotels who offer this for free . Room was on the front of the hotel which was quite noisy and you could not open the curtains in the daytime as no voile or net curtain . On checking out the front of house manager i think he was was very uninterested which did put me off but overall a good choice .

This hotel is in a great location about 100mtrs from Gloucester road tube station. We were 3 ladies and booked an executive studio for 3 adults and requested a quiet room, on arrival at 1.55pm our room wasn't quite ready we waited for about 15mins and then given our key cards and directed to our room 116, on entering the room we were very pleased, there was a lounge area with the sofa made up as a double bed and seperate double door leading to the bedroom with a huge king size bed. there were large flat screen televisions in both rooms and the bathroom was large with seperate walkin shower and bath. everything was spotless from the lounge, bedroom, bathroom, furniture, beding, towels, carpets, couldn't be faulted the facilities were the best we have ever had in a london hotel for a similar price. Don't know if the other rooms in this hotel are of a simalar standard (I think we were allocated an executive suite) but if so you will not be dissapointed, fantasic.The continental breakfast which was included in the room price had a great selection all fresh and we couldn't of asked for more. Pictures and facilities in this hotel were exactly as described on web site (unlike other hotels we've stayed in) we experienced a most relaxing and comfortable stay at this hotel mainly due to the cleanliness of our room. The only negative we found was the mini bar prices a bit steep and no free wifi. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable clean hotel. Keep up the good work Ridges we will be returning.

Room Tip: room 116 was spacious and quiet ( no view though)

In excellent position 100yds from Glos Rd tube. Short walk to Nat Hist Museum and V & A. Nice quiet room at rear of hotel, nice change for London. Rooms well fitted with all you require for Wi Fi etc fridge good tele. No bath only shower which was good walk in without horrid plastic curtain. Continental breakfast very good with only small portions put on buffet display, so regular replenishment which meant everything very fresh, big choice as well. Staff helpful, although towels in bedroom disappointing, small and not fluffy. Will stay again if I need to be in area.

Room Tip: Rooms at rear will be quieter as not facing a road
